Nothing is 'inevitable' about world government if people come to their senses. The first thing Australians have to do is stand up to Rudd on his stupid Australian/Asia version of the EU.

Some reasons for a world government.
1. Health. Today millions of people are moving arount our planet transfering viruses etc from one country to an other, from one continent to an other. We can not solve this problem in national level, this problem is very big and need cooperation from many countries, many universities, many hospitals etc. Even if we block the entrans to our country we can have health problems, from the birds, from the fishes, from the air, etc. We need an international body for health problems.
2.Weapons of mass distraction. We have nuclear weapons, biological weapons, chemical weapons, electronic weapons. All these weapons are dangerous not only for the enemies bit for all humanity. Today their size become smaler and smaller, we will destroy our planet if we do not control them, and we can not control them if we do not have an internation body to do this job.
3. Risks from the use of nuclear energy or other human activities for peacefull use. As you know the petrol is finishing, more and more nation will try to cover their needs with nuclear energy. You remember the explosion of Chernobil nuclear reactor. Years later people from Ukrane, Rumania, Bulgaria, North Greece and other countries continue to have health problems etc of cause it. We need an international body which will check these reactors to minimize the risks and coordinate the countries to minimize the damages and costs from any accidents.
4. Internet, internet crime, electronic crime etc. We need an international body to control all this things which can not controled from one country. Without an international body the internet can convert our planet to hell, banks, power stations, universities etc could have huge problems or may be they will have to shut down, we need an international body for it.
5. international crime, drugs, human traficing, money lountry, pirates, etc. We need an international body to protect us from international criminals.

7. Peace, if every country use its military forces to grab the wealth from an other country then our planet will become a hell, we need an international criminal court , we need an international body to restore the justice and peace.

As you know often fall on the earth big rocks from the space on the earth, some times they destroyed everything on the earth, the disappearance from dinosaurus and other live beings caused by this kind of falls on the earth. We know soon or later our planet will be destroyed, THE ONLY WAY FOR HUMANS TO STAY ALIVE IS THE SPACE, but the cost of the space exploration is very high, we can not allow few countries to control the space and leave all other countries withought hope in the future. WE MUST WORK ALL TOGETHER FOR THE SPACE EXPLORATION AND SPACE COLONIZATION. We know that our planets are not moving on a fix line but they come closer each other. It is 100% IT IS SURE THAT IN LONG TERMS OUR PLANET WILL COLLIDE WITH AN OTHER PLANET AND NOTHING LIVE WILL STAY ON OUR PLANET.
We need an international body for the space.
9. Genetic Engineering. human evilution speed up, creation of the new humans, withouht the weakness, sick genes, etc of mondern humans, we will improve human abilities, we will improve the human kind and we must do it for all humans, for all races, for all people from any religious, etc we need an international body.
I COULD WRITE ONE MILION REASONS WHY WE NEED AN INTERNATIONAL GOVERNMENT! NO FREE TIME
