My apologies, I mis-read your opening post.
I suppose the problem that I have is for the need
to allow public insults and denigration, of
any religion, race, culture or people. If you see
errors in a statement that someone is making,
correct them, but why get personal? Why vilify people?
I would have thought there were vilification laws in
place that did not allow this sort of behaviour.
People actually walked out on the President of Iran
when he made his speech vilifying Israel.
I think that as a "free," society we need to seriously
think about what is and is not acceptable behaviour. Isn't
there enough hatred in the world
