fraccy....I think you either didn't grasp what I'm saying or just went into some kind of daze when I mentioned fixing people :)

The probbbblem....is.....that we have 2 things happening simultaneously in our society.

1/ Increased visual permisiveness in the form of:
-Advertizing
-TV plots/shows/scenes
-Porn in all it's forms.
-"Adult" movies which objectify women (and men) available on Foxtel.

2/ A reaction which tries to then undo the damage with 'moral legislation'..... becoming ever more focused on things like 'innappropriate touching' and the such like...

Laws..laws...laws.. NONE of them will fix the problem..the best they can do is bring 'compliance' from (probably) resentful people who feel they are being squeezed like a lemon by a plethora of laws.

WE (fundy Bible bashers) "feel" this with the RRT2001.. we also feel it with some uses of human rights (so called) legislation and anti discimination law...

But when the secularists feel it with building height censorship..aaah.. NOWWWW u know what it feels like maybe.
But remember.. it's not "us" who are pushing for those laws.. In my view it is just the PC secularist mob trying to pick up the pieces of the social house of cards which is now collapsing around them.

Fraccy.. people are "fixed" by being reconciled to the Father, through the Son, by the Spirit... you may not agree.. but that's what freedom is about. It's my view.... and many share it.

P.s... your post the other day about a reflective Christian was most heartwarming. I'm glad u read stuff like that.

Poly, I'm not sure who you mean by "us" but your accusation against 'secularists' (whoever THAT is) may be misplaced.

Did you even bother to read the name of the school?

A brief assessment of Polly/Boaz - a full assessment would require deep therapy over many years.

1. Capacity for Humour - absent
2. Awareness of double entendre - zero
3. Eagerness to deride non religious - patholigical
4. Tendency to abuse 12 year females - self admitted.
5. Ability for comprehension - extremely limited.

I was making a joke about how the over-reaction by media and much of the public is ruining the joy and fun of recording our INNOCENT children's lives.

Capiche? I doubt it.

Heeheeheeh Fractelle, I thought that it was hilarious. Snip-snip, chop-chop!

But besides the joke, I don't think getting the chopping board out is not such a bad idea.

I always make the distinction between paedophiles (people who are feeling sexually attracted to children but do nothing about it except perhaps using fantasy) and paedosexuals (people who are guilty of sexually assaulting children.)

I can't see why paedosexuals should not be either medically or surgically castrated.

Correction, the 2nd sentence should read:

"...I don't think getting the chopping board out is such a bad idea."

Celivia

I am informed that in some cultures deep-fried testicles are considered a culinary delicacy - although I believe these are the testicles of cattle - however Hannibal Lecter may have some excellent recipes...but I digress.

Our society still appears to be running on fear, long ago it was 'reds under the bed' then terrorists, now its paedophiles.

Reality plays very little part.
