A bit off topic however, what is the difference between someone of Caucasian heritage who can not call themselves Indigenous in Australia yet brown people with varied heritage from the Pacific, to Malaysia, Indonesia, japan, China, India & PNG can claim to be indigenous after just one or two Generations ?

As to the second part of your question, “Indigenous” refers to the original or earliest known inhabitants of a specific region or country, prior to colonisation or subsequent waves of settlement. In Australia Aboriginal people are the Indigenous people, about 6% of the worlds population are considered indigenous. People from those places you mentioned, are not indigenous to Australia. Were you "indigenous to that dung heap you lived in before the relos blew the joint to pieces, and your lot scarpered off to Centrelink in Aussie? Just asking, maybe you got blown off from the Caucasus mountains. You don't say.
