Can't say I've seen that particular ad, tend to watch My ABC ad free you know! But I'm the first to agree, a 'flesh coloured fanny-pack' is totally un-Australian, and not in any shape or form part of our Anglo-Celtic heritage! Where as a 'beige bumbug' is certainly in keeping with the true Aussie sprite! Yes, Pakistan ended up with lots of Afghan refugees. They promptly deported them. Which is apparently fine and dandy with the usual suspects. Deportation is only bad when the US does it.

Turkey took some Syrian refugees and promptly used them to overthrow the Syrian government whereupon they were encouraged to go home.

The only place the Jordanian Palestinians could find that would take them after Jordan kicked them out was Christian Lebanon.

If the Muslim nations are so good at taking their refugees, why are there millions of them in Europe, the US, Australia and Canada?

No, Muslim countries (poor third world countries) are not that good at taking the millions of refugees created by Western imperialism. Australia takes in 20,000 (not millions) of refugees annually. America since October 2025, has taken 4,400 refugees in a population of almost 350 million, very few are Muslim refugees.
