As I said elsewhere on the ISIS brides, “the Labor party is lying about the inability to refuse them entry into Australia. They and the mainstream media have told the lie so many times that people now believe it”.

An article by John Humphreys, ‘Big Government plans to bailout big media’, suggests the governments and the media are definitely in cahoots.

The older media is dying out (more and more people are shunning it for ongoing options online) and the political class intends to help them. They don't want to lose their mouthpiece. The “old-school” media, losing the narrative and advertising revenues and the political class are working on a policy that would tax digital platforms and provide a “large subsidy” to the old media “to help them stay dominant”. It's referred to as a ‘news bargaining initiative’.

What it really would be is a “massive government bailout”. And more government help for the MSM, more dependence on the government, and vice versa.

The Albanese government has released draft legislation that they intend to put to parliament later this year.

According to the author, it looks as if the Coalition and the Greens are “broadly supportive, so it's likely to pass”. No surprise there.

The policy would tax the platforms that are now widely used, for an alternative to the MSM, in order to subsidise the now sickly MSM.

It's all about the government using the MSM's help to maintain control over the news narrative.

Hi runner,

As things have been getting a little too hot for the pedo-clergy in Australia, many are now on a "mission" to third world countries like the Philippines, Africa and South America in search of fresh meat. I was disgusted to hear only the other day, that a certain member of the suspect clergy has just returned from a 3 month mission to Africa. What do you have to say about that?

I hope that the 'silent majority' is more interested in the steady rise of Marxism and authoritarianism in Australia than OLO posters are. If not, this country and its people are well and truly buggered.

yeah good diversion Paul from the filthy voting blocks the Greens have tapped into. You know like Hamas/isis mob who have child abuse as part of their culture. No wonder you divert to your favourite lying narrative. And yeah, and not forget the labor/Greens love those hell holes where aboriginal kids are abused regularly. Did you learn your hatred and virtue signalling from Thorpe?

The fall of Farrer, held by the Liberals for the last 25 years, is one indication that the silent majority has had enough.

The 'safe seat' formula used for such things now has Farrer as a safe seat for One Nation, needing a 6% swing to replace it.

The fact that the seat has been held by Nationals and Liberals since 1949 makes the ON win amazing, and suggests that Australians might not still be the mugs they have been up to and including the last election.
