I want to posit that Australian Law should apply only to the actions of persons in Australia?
We cannot apply our laws in another country because we have no way of enforcing our laws there.
In another country, the laws of that country will apply.
Only things done here should be subject to Australian Law?
We cannot effectively make laws for what any person does in another country.

Right... now I'm REALLY PISSED.

So I did the stupid google phone updates this morning.
I sent a friend a few Aussie post parcels this week and I wanted to track them.

I take a photo of the post office receipt which has a QR code.
You can go to your phones photos, choose the picture with the QR code, then click the three dots in the top right which brings up a menu.
Choose Google Lens to analyse the image, and it brings up a URL that takes me to the tracking page. Easy.

So I did the 57 phone updates...
Then a while later I go to my photos to check the tracking of those parcels.

Everythings gone going back to May 2024.

Google says 'Turn your backup on' and also 'Is it ok if we analyse your images, help google'

I'm sick of this shite, sick of the updates.
Sick of them expecting me to keep my private photos on THEIR computers.
Sick of them trying to shove a camera up my arse.
Sick of them expecting me to dance like a trained monkey.

Sick of this country being ok with sharing all of our data with a foreign country and AI.
