Recently Prime Minister Anthony Albanese gave an address to the nation regarding the ongoing fuel crisis hitting Australia.

Some however have called it a waste of time, something with little content and a 'bunch of nothing’.

I haven't seen a lot calling his speech to Australians leadership. I have though seen a lot of people critical of the government and its handling of the fuel matter across Australia.

Opposition Leader Angus Taylor has spoken out following in reply, with some calling his speech nothing more than 'political theatre'.

With that in mind, I don't know if we would get much better from the Liberal Party either if Angus Taylor was PM.

I'd like to know what other people think. I've also been very disappointed with the states/territories also, which have also been average and below standard on this issue.

- They would have committed troops to a war with Iran already.

"I'd like to know what other people think. I've also been very disappointed with the states/territories also, which have also been average and below standard on this issue."
- I think Albo's an fool for giving support to Trumps war.
What sort of vehicle do you have NathanJ if you own one?

When my car runs out of fuel I'll tell you.
I have about half a tank of diesel, but beyond that I'm not too worried
- Maybe I should be a little more concerned?

Hi Nathan,

The Albanese address to the nation, was three minutes long. The message was one of reassurance about fuel supplies, nothing more than that. The fact is Australia has a good supply of fuel at the moment. Contrast that to the lunatic in the White House and his address to America, twenty minutes long full of utter garbage.

Hi AC,

That sycophantic nonsense from Albanese supporting Trumps illegal war, tells me that my belief that Australia should be a non-aligned nation is well founded.

The speech reflected a man who was caught like a deer in headlights and was concerned his lack of leadership in the first real crisis he's faced would become apparent.

It also reflects a ruling elite that is terrified that the masses are deserting to the fringes of One Nation and the Greens and are desperate to continue the charade that they know what they are doing..... and failing.

That Australia, resource rich in all sorts of ways, is about to suffer a power crisis shows the folly on the last 20 years of climate alarmism and economic complacency.

Australia, like Europe, has relied for decades on the knowledge that the US navy would keep the international trade routes open. They had the duel luxuries of being utterly reliant on the US for their economic well-being while thinking they could treat the US with disdain. The last few weeks have shown the world what happens when the US decides to not be the world's policeman. They (Europe, Australia, East Asia) are all now floundering around trying to work out how they exist in the new world where the US worries about its own interests and not about those of their fair-weather allies.

A speech by a real statesman would have addressed or at least mentioned some of that. That Albo didn't is hardly a surprise.

Hi Un-Australian Trumpster,

"The speech reflected a man who was caught like a deer in headlights" I think you were on the wrong channel, and watching CHICKEN-OUT DONALD. The Iranians have got your folk hero by the short and curlies! One day he's ranting and raving like a deranged Hitler, the next day he's begging the Iranians for a peace deal. They don't call him CHICKEN OUT DONALD for nothing.

How about commenting on Donald's own military service? Didn't he lead the Charge Of The Light Brigade, wasn't Donald in the vanguard with Teddy Roosevelt at San Juan Hill!.... Then poor Donald woke up from his nanny nap in the Oval Office, and realised he was only dreaming.

BTW There is a photo doing the rounds of Donald in an army officers uniform. He looks like an oversized HERMANN GORING.

So Paul doesn't deny or attempt to refute the observations about Albo, just races to change the subject... as usual.

But you've got to admire Paul's consistency </grin>. One day he's saying deriding Trump for wanting to bomb the hell out of the dictators Paul so admires, the next he's deriding Trump for NOT wanting to bomb the hell out of the dictators Paul so admires.

Meanwhile, the US and Trump win again.
