Try again- In the US Declaration of Independence they ask the question when should the bindings that bind two parts of a ruling structure be broken, in this case Britain and the US. Remember the answer...

Long ago, the world was acting in what it considered to be an acceptable manner.
The annexation of Australia by the British was considered to be an acceptable action when it happened.
Such actions were common practice, and relied on superior force to realise.
And strength will almost certainly dominate and succeed.
Similar actions still occur in our modern world.
Boundaries are fluid, and moving all the time.
But we should not retrospectively try to make any long past action irregular.
That would set a precedent with calamitous consequences.
Also, the simple truth is that in Australia, our present well established democratic system is not likely to change.
And what happened 250 years ago is of no consequence to us.
We were not there, and had no part in anything which took place.
We have no responsibility at all for anything done by people long ago.
And this is our country now.
It belongs to everybody who was born here or is a Naturalised Australian.
Collectively, we define and defend our boundaries.
We make laws, and effectively apply those laws.
This is the type of control required by any group claiming 'ownership'.
No individual group has the ability to do these things.
So, no such group can claim any form of ownership.
Those who continue to claim 'ownership' based on racial concepts, are absurd.
In the present day, with careful thought, we can have standards and laws which accommodate most citizens.
But we cannot change history.
We have absolutely no control whatsoever over what happened long ago.
We only have control over what happens now.
And all citizens should contribute equally and fairly to our society.
And reap the rewards of our combined effort.
And, if it chooses to, our society will do things differently now.

I can see the Kudos Kid, dressed in black outside the NSW Parliament being dragged away by the police and arrested, Then put on a plane back to his native Deutschland!

Who cares what the slave owning white men in America had to say 250 years ago. They were a great bunch, killed the red man, and enslaved the black man. Your kinda guys KK. The criminals Washington, Jefferson, Franklin etc, etc.

Paul1405,
I hope somehow, someone makes you realise how much of a hurdle you are to your own people or at least the ones you claim to have so much empathy for ! As it stands you're causing way more harm than good.
Hypocrisy has never been a good tool for any society !

Indy,

Should I try your approach and run around calling Aboriginal people living in cities "CONCRETE JUNGLE BUNNIES" something different perhaps?
