Anyone disagreeing with the goings-on in some communities & that includes Cities should have to prove they can handle the situations faced by Police, Paramedics, Hospital staff etc better.

No one is in favour of people committing crime in the community, there has to be consequences for that, and that's where the police come in. YOU take a very shallow view, YOU only see the one solution to petty anti-social juvenile crime, and that's punishment. What I say is rather than have widespread enforcement, and a punitive legal system to back up that enforcement there must be a better way. I favour a holistic approach which tackles the root causes of anti-social juvenile crime, which includes tacking the environment problems of disadvantage that begin at birth for many of these kids.

I understand that an old bloke like YOU, sees yourself as vulnerable, defenseless, threatened by the criminality of society, not being in control as you are. YOU believe what's best for your protection is widespread law enforcement, backed up by a punitive legal system of incarceration of those who would offend against your person, understandable. Unfortunately that has been tried many times in the past (the LNP government in Qld is trying it once again) but without tackling those root causes of the problem, the whole thing is doomed to failure.

To my way of thinking, it might make sense to explain that stabbing police officers who are doing their duty is not such a great idea and might lead to unwanted consequences. But it seems, for some people, telling aboriginals that there's something they can't do is a bridge too far.

You're too hypocritical & racist to have a rational conversation about this.
I have lived with Indigenous Australians & I have been a victim of those "petty, anti-social crimes" which have impacted my life to such an extent that I had to literally change my plans & ambitions & interests to cope with the losses incurred. I know quite a number of others who share similar experiences. We went there to help build infrastructure & provide services to communities but let me tell you, the kudos we got from a handful of genuine Indigenous was heavily overshadowed by pretend Indigenous & Labor supporting bureaucrats who only went there for career advancement & milking the system. You call the likes of me racist but those whose lies you believe & support to perpetuate untruths which then get circulated in the Leftist Media in the South of the Nation.
Tell me, how would you deal with 12-16 year old criminals that are invariably let off by do-gooders & Legal Aid ?
