Not quite right Paul, I don't think the Jews have tried to dominate all
others. Some Christian denominations did in historical time although
not with a program to conquer the world under arms.
The colonialists did not convert the natives with a threat of or else.
The difference with Islam is that the use of terrorism is encouraged.
The Koran was written during the Arab conquest of Mesopotamia.
I saw an interesting comment that the grammar used in one part of the
Koran was in use in the area around Baghdad in the 8th century.
I don't think burning all Korans and blowing up mosques would do much good.
Look how long the Indians have been trying to get Islam back out of India.
There is in NSW I hear tell an organisation of moslems that would like
to write a new testament for the Koran.
They are probably too frighted to come public with the publicised
connection between the Lebanese crime gangs and the Islamists.
Anyway no hope of a solution except from moslem reconstruction.
good night k

Dear Critic,

I don't find enough time these days to comment on everything,
but one point you mentioned is so totally incorrect, regarding the Israeli flag.

Legend has it that the "star of David" was a symbol that ancient Judeans engraved on their shields.
In reality, David probably never existed and the symbol was likely adopted from Islam and became popular only since the 19th century.

As for the two blue lines, they have nothing to do with rivers, but come from the Biblical instruction:

“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel.“
[Numbers 16:38]

Personally, I consider all flags as an evil inducement to violence, but for now my time is up.

"In reality, David probably never existed and the symbol was likely adopted from Islam and became popular only since the 19th century."

In reality there probably was a 'king' or warlord called David who lived around 1000 BC although many of the stories about him in the Bible are probably exaggerations. A bit like Achilles was probably a real character from the same era around whom fantastic stories grew. But we do know that others were boasting of defeating the "house of David" a century after David supposedly existed, suggesting a royal line.

As to the star of David, it certainly existed as a prominent Jewish symbol back in the 14th century (CE) and exists on various Jewish cemetery stones back to the 12th century. Like the swastika, it was a common symbol in ancient times in several cultures likely being two interlocking triangles symbolising the linking of God and Man.

Those of you who live within cooee of the Lakemba Mosque are about to
have the call to prayer five times a day blasted out over the area.
Got this from a very indirect source so the council may have refused.

Bezza,

All three monotheistic religions have had their moments, although Judaism never rose to the dizzy heights of the other two, but it can claim to be the foundation of Christianity and Islam. As for saying;

"not with a program to conquer the world under arms.
The colonialists did not convert the natives with a threat of or else"

I think using secularism, Christians were rather successful in conquering the world, as their empires spread out from Europe. Many a soul perished in the name of Christianity, the Spanish in South America for example. Slaves were forced to accept Christianity or else, others were convinced to convert for their economic wellbeing, or with the promise of reward in some imagined after life.

I still say mankind would have been better off if he had never invented these monotheistic religions. They have proven themselves to be a self imposes curse.

With your extreme hatred of Muslims,
Paul1405,
To fear for one's Nation's downfall & blatant violence as urged by Islam is definitely not hatred, it's genuine concern that warrants making the wider community aware !
Calling it hatred is nothing more than hate speech by a hater !
