All in the family:

The 25-year-old son of Kristina Keneally was found guilty of falsifying evidence. Apparently, it's a crime for non-Liebor politicians.

I sometimes have discussions with my housemate over the idea of wealth.

I've always argued that poor people chose to be poor
- By default of their failure to choose things which would have lead to them not being poor.

My housemate argues wealth is inherited and that no-one gets ahead on their own or without benefits from a wealthy family.

I disagree.

Where we can agree is that people from wealthy family's not only benefit from having money, (his argument for inheriting a benefit) but the ability to make smarter choices from being around smarter people.
- like poor people (poor families) are trapped into poor peoples thinking, don't save, and live week to week, don't know how to start a business or the tricks and benefits wealthy people know but poor do not, or know how to invest.
- And thus poor people (poor families) can't offer their kids that kids of knowledge.

It's a question of culture. Of values passed on
by parents. Of the value and importance of education.
Of taking responsibility. Of working hard - not expecting
a free ride.

Many come to this country with barely the clothes on their
backs. Yet by working hard - they're able to achieve a
great deal. There are enough opportunities available.
You have to have the will to pursue them. Persevere and
not give up. Life is what you make it. Dot expect others
to do it for you.

I remember growing up in the Western suburbs of Sydney.
Our neighbours, locals, frequented the pubs. Gambled
on the races. Had their regular bookies, while the
"New Australians," worked several jobs, sent their kids
for higher education or trades, set up small businesses.
contributed to their communities, looked after their old
people and families.
A noticeable difference between the two sets of people.

Dud Dutton takes the cakes as Australia's dumbest politician, claiming he would fight tooth and nail to stop Labor from altering the top heavy NOALITIONS stage 3 tax cuts, even demanding an early election, what a turkey! Where is Dud these days, claiming the NOALITION now supports Labors policy, as does two thirds of taxpayers. Add this to the NOALITIONS "Kill Medicare" policy, and their "Cash Up The Rich Policy" should see the NOALITION in opposition for the next 100 years!
