The Australian political class is bad and getting worse. That means the Australian population is bad and getting worse; they enable the political class.
Generally, a first time government gets a second term in Australia, so forgiving are Australians. Let's hope there is an exception this time. The Opposition is pretty useless, but at least it is not downright dangerous like the Albanese government.
Next time you worry about the Communists in Beijing, think about the Communists in Canberra.

I note that Baygon is back, trying to cloud the issue with irrelevancies like Brexit and Donald Trump. Worse, he is misinforming us on misinformation. More comedy.
Are we taking ourselves too seriously? The 17 million plus voters who will make the decision on October 14 will not be influenced by a small group they have never heard of. Nobody here has said they will change their vote because of someone else's opinion. The polls say Yes is doomed. Albanese is confident. Jacinta Price says don't take anything for granted; hers is probably the best advice.
