Middle East peace remains a mirage : Comments

By Parama Sinha Palit, published 26/8/2008

Even though Middle East peace is a global aspiration, the world will have to live with turmoil in this region for the foreseeable future.

"Strategic Power Balancing. "

Very sanctimonously said. But no nation has more right and justice to protecting herself. In the pre-50's, Israel was 3 times attacked with a declared goal of genocide - there was no outcry then, no UN Resolution, and none were taken to task to date.

There is a difference between power balancing and existentialism balancing. At least the nazis were 'honest' about their doctrines and said it plain - they never resorted to Pretend Pals and occupation spinology.

Iam Joseph, suggest that you contact Henry Kissinger and see if he has changed his mind about his recently found declaration that the official mind-shutting to a nuclear-armed Israel with no other nuclear opposition in the Middle-East was asking for future hate and trouble.

Kissinger is also one of many who is backing militarial nuclear banishment, different to Condoleeza Rice who has stupidly offered India mind and materials to increase its nuclear capabilities.

Much better you talk to a few qualified historians, Iam Joseph, than your apparent unqualified friends.

"Henry Kissinger and see if he has changed his mind about his recently found declaration that the official mind-shutting to a nuclear-armed Israel with no other nuclear opposition in the Middle-East was asking for future hate and trouble."

America gave no assistance to Israel in Nuclear technology. While France did in the 50's, it should be understood this know-how came from Jews in the first place, and at that time there was no need to acquire Nuclear weapons. Ot was a jew who gave this know-how to Russia - because it was not appropriate only one nation should have such weaponry. But there is a non-negotiable goal to wipe Israel off the map - a subtle point not factored in with the Kissenger deflection.

Israel is one of the very few nations which has never stolen anyone's lands in her 4000 year history - despite being the world's most displaced peoples across the nations. This does not mean any nation would assist Israel if push came to shove - most of the west is now realising Israel is only the first to be attacked and not the last: FIRST THE SATURDAY PEOPLE - THEN THE SUNDAY PEOPLE.

"Condoleeza Rice who has stupidly offered India mind and materials to increase its nuclear capabilities."

Its the first correct thing by stupid Condy: India is perhaps the world's most hospitable nations and peoples - she lost two states to Pakistan and Bangladesh, and is now facing horrific terrorism for Kashmir. IMHO, India should take back the two states and boot out the Muslims to Saudi Arabia. Else she will never find any peace: Israel now has a mere 12% of the land allocated her in the Balfour - and is still hounded with the post-60's invented Pretend Pals and Occupation lie. What is it that Israel should be doing to please your kind - do you want to see a new golf course in soccer-sized Israel?
