Isn't that what the Russians say about the Ukrainians? As the Ukrainians are showing, smart weapons and smart strategies are critical. I believe that Ukraine has the advantage in drone warfare and is using that advantage to paralyse Russian logistics around Donetsk. I suspect that Trump will be content maintaining a siege on Iran. The cost of maintaining the luxurious and decadent lifestyles of regime families in western countries must be enormous.

And another problem for Russia in Ukraine is the accuracy of their missiles and guided bombs.

Iran and the US of A have different goals.
These goals so different that compromise is not possible.
The only way to end conflict permanently is for the stronger side to drive the other in to submission.
It is world war two all over again.
It means destroying the weaker side's ability to defend itself.
Then the weaker side will either surrender or face virtual annihilation.
That is the only logical way for it to go.
A partial compromise now would lead to considerable unrest in the future.
That is highly undesirable.
I don't know why there are so many who keep bleating about a peaceful solution.
That cannot and will not happen.
It is not happening.
There are rare times when countries must stand up and be counted.
This is one of those times.
They must now work collectively towards a common goal.
I wish them every success.
