The moral collapse started with Hamas and will only end when the hostages are returned or Hamas is defeated militarily.

Dear BernieMasters,
Morality in Israel has declined for many years, yet the final moral collapse started with the one who hired Hamas on October 7th, 2023, to savagely massacre, rape and kidnap his own people, or rather, his political enemies from the Kibbutzim, still the one who would do anything to prevent the hostages returning - Binyamin Netanyahu. Jewish messianic beliefs are to have the whole world hate them and rise up against them.
Some wish to speed up the process. Nothing better than engaging in atrocities and killing women and children to unify this hate into a 'with us or against us' mentality. Posted by Armchair Critic, Wednesday, 10 September 2025 9:58:21 AM

Must be terrible to be the chosen ones.
Everybody hates you. Can`t imagine why. Posted by ateday, Wednesday, 10 September 2025 11:35:27 AM

Have I misread Yuyutsu's accusation against Netanyahu, or did he actually accuse the man of being behind the Hamas/Palestinian atrocities against his own people.
If an identifiable person outrageously slandered anyone like that, they would have the law on them. And people hiding behind pseudonyms should not be too sure that they can't be tracked down these days. The author of this anti-Netanyahu rubbish - accusing him of being a war criminal without a trial, might be lawyered up and safe; but an old left-wing Israeli immigrant in Australia? Might not be that hard to find. Posted by ttbn, Wednesday, 10 September 2025 11:46:07 AM

Why not check out this topic The Complete Guide to Killing Non Jews.
It provides a uniquely honest perspective on the deep-seated motivations and justifications for the applied politics of the Netan-yahoo regime. Posted by Daffy Duck, Wednesday, 10 September 2025 1:03:36 PM

Going on this author's attitude to Netanyahu and Israel, he will be as disappointed as poor Penny Wong that more of the terrorists leaders responsible for the atrocities against Israeli citizens on October 7 ‘23 were taken out in Doha last night by Israeli jets.
Wong gasped “We certainly think this was the wrong thing to do. Because it violates Qatar’s sovereignty.” If Qatar accommodates terrorists, phooey to their sovereignty. Posted by ttbn, Wednesday, 10 September 2025 6:30:29 PM

Dear Ttbn,
You obviously don't watch the comments on Israeli media, with Israelis now that desperate to throw caution to the wind and break the last taboo, openly comparing Netanyahu with Hitler, and so does this article in spirit. Nobody can tell for sure as the evidence is circumstantial, however: * The motive was there - several in fact as the article delineates. * The financing of Hamas by Netanyahu is well documented, allowing Hamas to build its enormous arsenal, including rockets and underground cities, even a rudimentary air-force of gliders and drones. * The systematic ignoring of the various IDF and Shin-Bet alarms about the impending attack; the air-force's jets circling elsewhere and not helping at the critical hours, and the army's order to concentrate all efforts on Israel's northern front, are beyond statistically reasonable mishaps. * Somehow in an unusual way, none of those who were supposed to wake up Netanyahu early that morning did. * Once Netanyahu finally did wake up, within an hour, while Hamas' surprise attack was still developing and nobody yet understood its extent, he already declared that "this is not just an operation, but a full-scale war which will last for over a year". * Then comes a long series over 2 years of Netanyahu committing every possible tactical mistake to avoid winning the war and make it last longer. This is Israel which in 1967 took only 6 days to take over the whole of the Golan Heights, the West Bank and the Sinai peninsula INCLUDING Gaza, also subdued mighty Iran from the air in about the same number of days. * Sinwar proceeded with October 7th attack despite all his aides warning him that Israel must be prepared for it - he must have known something which they did not. * The vast majority of October 7th victims are from the Kibbutzim near Gaza which are known for belonging to the peaceful Left-wing opposition to Netanyahu, and the Hippy-like music-lovers in the Nova musical festival, also deep into Israel's Peace-Camp. The hard evidence has probably gone down into Sinwar's grave. Posted by Yuyutsu, Wednesday, 10 September 2025 9:41:59 PM

"The genocidal war in Gaza should put the whole world on notice that this is now simply another episode in the moral collapse of our humanity, as 'never again' has lost its moral weight."
'OUR' Humanity? Please don't associate me with anything the terrorist state of Israel does. It's your country the USA providing the munitions, and your people Jews conducting the genocide. I've been opposing this senseless slaughter since Oct 8. Yuyutsu, I'd largely agree with everything you said, and add the point that Egypt warned Israel prior to the attack as did those women in the Golani brigade whose concerns were dismissed. Egypt warned Israel days before Hamas struck, US committee chairman says http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-67082047 IDF Ignored Female Soldiers’ Warnings Pre-Oct. 7. Then They Were Massacred http://youtu.be/dELb5wVQwbk Why were they massacred? Because Oct 7 was as much a raid on Israeli military facilities as anything else. A legitimate attack by the occupied upon the occupier under International law. Most of the Israeli citizens killed were by the IDF themselves under the Hannibal Doctrine, and talk of mass rapes, and beheaded babies were all fabricated. I'd disagree that Israel 'subdued mighty Iran from the air in about the same number of days'. The IRGC military commanders took a number of casualties from Israeli airstrikes but they regrouped fast and were pounding Israeli military and infrastructure and the Israelis faced their first serious smack in the face and had run out of missile interceptors. Dear Critic,
We don't need to agree on everything. I do support Israel and its right to defend itself, so long as its actions are in fact defensive, not because of some superior ideology or values it may have, but because nobody else in that neighbourhood can protect my family from savage Islamists. Israel's operations during October and November 2023 were within reason, especially since some Hamas terrorists still remained within Israel for another week or two and the rockets from Gaza kept flying in. It was only later and only gradually that the war turned nasty and focused on revenge rather than on defence. Also, the stuff about the Hanibal doctrine is nonsense, as it was forbidden by Israel's courts and the IDF command years before. A few Israelis were tragically killed by friendly fire, but not intentionally and only a few. Posted by Yuyutsu, Thursday, 11 September 2025 8:28:30 AM

Hi Yuyutsu,
Israeli HQ ordered troops to shoot Israeli captives on 7 October http://electronicintifada.net/blogs/asa-winstanley/israeli-hq-ordered-troops-shoot-israeli-captives-7-october "At midday on 7 October Israel’s supreme military command ordered all units to prevent the capture of Israeli citizens “at any cost” – even by firing on them. The military “instructed all its fighting units to perform the Hannibal Directive in practice, although it did so without stating that name explicitly,” Israeli journalists revealed last weekend. The revelations came in a new investigative article by Ronen Bergman and Yoav Zitun, two journalists with extensive sources inside Israel’s military and intelligence establishment. They also revealed that 'some 70 vehicles' driven by Palestinian fighters returning to Gaza were blown up by Israeli helicopter gunships, drones or tanks. Many of these vehicles contained Israeli captives." How Israeli forces trapped and killed ravers at the Nova Festival http://thecradle.co/articles/how-israeli-forces-trapped-and-killed-ravers-at-the-nova-festival "Israeli officials allege that Hamas carried out a pre-mediated and carefully executed massacre of 364 Israeli civilians at the Nova music festival near Gaza on 7 October as part of the Palestinian resistance's Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. They claim that Hamas and other Palestinians had hours to murder Israeli partygoers before the army reached the scene. However, new details have emerged showing that Israel's Border Police was deployed at the Nova site before Hamas stumbled on the festival, causing the eruption of a major battle. While some ravers were indeed killed by the Palestinian resistance - whether by intent or in the chaos of battle - the evidence now suggests that the majority of civilian deaths were likely inflicted by Israeli forces themselves. " http://www.facebook.com/territoriansforpalestine/posts/the-idf-destroyed-over-1000-vehicles-on-7-october-2024-killing-israelis-festival/920743806869732/ "The IDF destroyed over 1000 vehicles on 7 October 2024, killing Israelis, festival goers and Hamas fighters, they also blew up Kibbutz houses with tank fire killing Israelis. How many Israelis did the IDF kill? The answer has been deliberately buried. Israel admits it killed its own at Nova music festival. A police investigation shows Israeli Apache helicopters opened fire on attendees of the Nova music festival during the 7 October Hamas attack. Shamefully, the Western mainstream media continues to ignore IDF crimes on 7 October 2023." Posted by Armchair Critic, Thursday, 11 September 2025 9:32:24 AM

Dear Critic,
I find this hard to believe: Hannibal was outlawed in Israel and standing IDF orders forbade it: if anyone were to be caught doing this Hannibal thing, then they would be charged with murder and spend the rest of their life in prison. With that many returned hostages and Nova survivors, it begs why no such accusations were made by them. There was one well-known case, and just one, of a tank ordered to shoot at the ROOF a house in order to expose the terrorists that were there and try saving the hostages inside. It resulted in one person wounded. Sporadic cases of misidentification in the thick of battle did occur, but not many. Posted by Yuyutsu, Thursday, 11 September 2025 11:49:40 AM

Hi Yuyutsu,
Israeli forces accused of killing their own citizens under the 'Hannibal Directive' during October 7 chaos http://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-09-07/israel-hannibal-directive-kidnap-hamas-gaza-hostages-idf/104224430 "Hannibal at Erez, dispatch a Zik [attack drone]," came the command on October 7. Those words, reported by Israeli newspaper Haaretz in July, confirm what many Israelis have feared since the Hamas attacks on October 7 in southern Israel. Israeli forces have killed their own citizens. Israeli authorities say more than 800 civilians and around 300 soldiers were killed on October 7." Obviously, I wasn't there or party to the events but I heard about all this stuff way back in 2022 as it unfolded. Netanyahu will need to keep a war going somewhere, either Syria or Iran or Lebanon, (while continuing to send IDF into Gaza) the hostages stand in the way of his real aims, he can't take on Iran whilst Hamas and Hezbollah still pose a risk, and the last attack on Iran effectively made Iran stronger and Israel weaker, his foolish claimed 'window of opportunity' to attack Iran while its 'proxies' are weakened is closing. There will likely be another attempted decapitation strike on Iran, but if it fails Israel is probably going to get decimated. This attack in Qatar might be making the Gulf States nervous. Israel and the U.S. has been killing it's enemies under the pretext of attending peace negotiation meetings for some time now. They did it to Soleimani, Nasrallah, Haniyeh. Hamas claims leadership survived Israeli attack in Doha, but confirms six deaths http://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ced58zywdwno "The Palestinian armed group Hamas has said five of its members were killed in an Israeli air strike in Qatar's capital, but claimed that an attempt to assassinate its negotiating team "failed". Hamas said the negotiating team was meeting to discuss the latest US proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip at a residential compound in Doha when it was badly damaged by a series of explosions." This is what America and Israel are doing, invites them to peace negotiation meetings, while someone is hiding behind the front door with a shotgun waiting for them. Dear Critic,
You attribute too many far-reaching intentions to Netanyahu, sinister or otherwise, while he only thinks of himself, of Sarah and of his sons. Netanyahu has to keep a war going, but not because he cares about this or that enemy, about Israel, about territory (though some of his coalition partners do) or about winning or achieving anything - he just needs to keep the war going indefinitely, anywhere. He cannot stop because his personal survival is at stake. This war is only a derivative reflection of Israel's internal strife: the Arabs, "Palestinians", America and the rest of the world are just instrumental pawns and not really a side to it. That so many others suffer for it is incidental and if America under Trump happens to have similar interests, that is also incidental as Netanyahu would not hesitate to stab even Trump in the back if that's what his selfish motives dictate.
