Dear Paul,
While I am also outraged by what Israel's present regime (which for some reason you call "Zionist") does, sticking to facts, dotting the i's and crossing the t's can be more effective than emotional outbursts. «While the world stands ideally by» No, the world DOES NOT stand idly by. «and allows the Zionist regime» Each and every historical Israeli government, including the most dovish Labor governments which eagerly offered the local Arabs to form their own Palestinian state and signed the Oslo accords in preparation, including Sharon's government that forcibly removed all Jewish settlers from Gaza and part of the West Bank - they all considered themselves "Zionist". The behaviour of Israel's present government does not resemble the spirit of original Zionism, which sought to share the land with the local Arab population as equal citizens. «to commit mass gendercide and murder» Only a section of Israel's government are truly evil and committed to genocide and murder - the rest just do not mind it. «against the innocent Palestinian people,» There are no Palestinian people. As for their innocence, apart from their well-documented violence against innocent Israeli civilians for about a century, "Palestine" was a derogatory name coined by the Romans for the sole purpose of humiliating the defeated Judeans. Tried calling black people "Nig-gers"? If you wave a red cloth in front a bull, don't be surprised when its horns pierce your body. Before Israel's creation, before Zionism, the local Arabs were under Ottoman rule and considered themselves Syrian. What is now Israel was then part of the Ottoman province of Syria. «there will not be any two state solution.» At present Trump will not allow it, but he won't be there forever. «The aim of the Zionist is clear, completely destroy Gaza, and eradicate as many Palestinians as possible, creating a Pan-Israel in the regain in what was once Palestine.» According to the surveys, only 12% of the Israelis aim for that. Unfortunately, these 12% hold the balance of power as king-makers, blackmailing Israel's weak and criminal prime-minister who cannot afford to be left without them. Hi Yuyutsu,
I use the word Zionist, a group of Jews whose original aim was to create a Jewish state in Palestine with as much land, as many Jews, and as few Palestinian Arabs as possible. The Netanyahu government is Zionist, with the same objectives as those of the original Zionist movement. I also want to differentiate between the war criminals of Netanyahu and the truly decent Israelis, who want peace, who don't want to murder their Palestinian brothers and sisters! I believe that is the vast majority of Israelis. Posted by Paul1405, Sunday, 13 July 2025 11:35:43 AM

Dear Paul,
«I use the word Zionist, a group of Jews whose original aim was to create a Jewish state in Palestine with as much land, as many Jews, and as few Palestinian Arabs as possible.» Then you are re-defining an existing word. You mentioned: {a Jewish [1. state] [2. in Palestine] [3. with as much land], [4. as many Jews], and [5. as few Palestinian Arabs as possible]} 1. Zionism spoke of a Jewish HOME - a place where Jews can feel at home and not be persecuted as foreigners, especially as nationalism was rising in Europe and made Jews feel unwelcome. While most thought that a home must imply a state, not all Zionists did: one could still be a Zionist without aspiring for a state. 2. Zionism also attempted other locations such as Uganda and North-Western Australia. They failed, leaving no other viable option. 3. Zionism spoke of SUFFICIENT land so that Jews can become farmers again and earn their living respectfully and productively rather than from "air-jobs". Not of "as much". 4. Zionism sought to save as many Jews as possible from persecution. There was no intent originally to try and bring in other Jews who felt happy where they were. Some Zionists even spoke of the Jewish home as a spiritual-centre which would serve and link the rest of the Jews throughout the world. 5. Zionism welcomed the native Arab inhabitants of the land to join in its new project, with full equality and respect. This is evidenced in Herzl's book, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Old_New_Land : "The novel portrays a Jewish state where Jews and Arabs live together in harmony, reflecting Herzl's belief in the importance of coexistence and mutual respect between different communities" Posted by Yuyutsu, Sunday, 13 July 2025 1:15:55 PM

Sounds like one or the other needs to go if real peace is desired !

Come on! Two states. Two hundred states. Nothing is going to stop the call for the state of Israel to be wiped of the map.
