Dutton hits the right notes in budget reply : Comments

By Graham Young, published 20/5/2024

His job in a budget-in-reply speech is to hold the government to account, not to govern himself. The time for detailed plans is much closer to the next election.

If I did not understand this forum and it's Right wing nut job base, this article read in isolation reads like a troll, so detatched from reality that it can only be seen as something to generate clicks.

Dutton is un-electable, I like that he is opposition leader.

Cut all immigration not just a quarter of it. Import people only when really needed.

Stop all foreign students. Concentrate on educating our own.

Nuclear is too far off. Get back to coal and gas until nuclear is up and running.

Forget ‘climate emergency’. It doesn't exist. Carbon dioxide has never been proved to be a problem. Ask Ian Plimer who has asked, and asked, and asked for proof, receiving none from any of the lying windbags.

Get Twiggy Forrest to migrate to Disneyland and write fairy tales there. Recruit Gina Rinehart into the Liberal Party.

Dutton's party did nothing about defence over 10 years.

Sorry. Peter Dutton is doing and saying nothing that indicates that he is what Australia needs. He might be able to rid us of the appalling, far-Left Albanese gangsters, but we need more help than that, and he is not offering anything.

I think the more appropriate line from the song "Bring in the clowns" would be ... "Don't worry, they're here."

The real mystery of Right Wing politics all over the world, is that the chattering facebook and twitter twits just don't care what the leading mouth piece is. They can be clowns just like Dutton and Trump, they have no shame as long as they keep churning out what is clearly disinformation, it's all they want. They then have disinformation to echo on to their chattering 'dumb as' friends.

Facts are irrelevant, spin is king.

The real mystery of Right Wing politics all over the world,
Random,
Totally & utterly no mystery whatsoever. To a Woke yes but not to anyone who works for a living & has to think before any move made.
What you et al refer to as "Right Wing" politics is called economics in real life. I believe the woke refer to what we call economics as funding ! Get ready, the people are tired, very tired indeed of funding the nonproductive.
