Dutton hits the right notes in budget reply : Comments

By Graham Young, published 20/5/2024

His job in a budget-in-reply speech is to hold the government to account, not to govern himself. The time for detailed plans is much closer to the next election.

Anyone dumb enough to use the word 'woke' as a derogatory term, outs themselves as an uneducated clown.

But we already knew that.

"Left Wing" - ALP = Another Liberal Party, "Right wing " - LNP = Lying Nazi Parasites. The opposite wings of a long dead and maggoty duck that once was Australian politics.

Greens...not fit for compost! The last of their candidates that had half an idea & some brain cells to contribute in an argument was Scott Ludlum.

The '2 party abused system of voting' simply must go and bring back the Ostrakos Vote for God's sake - to save us the pain of suffering the lingering remainder of term once popularity polls have sounded the incumbents death knell.

The current crop of oxygen thieves in Caarnbra install little hope for Australia's future irrespective of a Biden or Trump re-run.

Hi Random,

You got in 10 minutes before the far right back up from the peanut gallery could add his predictable One Nation comment.

As per usual there's Graham Young singing from the LNP song sheet, I can only guess he's out to curry favour with the hard right faction in the party, despite past sins. Maybe he wants to be a favoured candidate in the up coming Qld State Election.

As for the article, GY claims Dud Dutton is; "ordinary bloke who is one of us", who is US, are we all that stupid? Then there's this gem; "A small businessman who employed 40 people" since when being booted from the Queensland cops and getting a job in Old Man Dutton's business, is employing "40 people". The Dutton business took off when it got awarded valuable contracts to build child care facilities for the LNP government of Campbell Newman, a-holed after just one term, but it was enough to set the Dutton business up. "bigger and more intrusive government"..."How do you repair Labor's excesses?" Don't forget Dud was part of the same Noalition government that has left Australia with a trillion dollars of debt! I don't know Graham how does Labor repair a trillion dollars of Noalition debt.

The Noalitions "grand plan" for energy production is to build a few Chernobyl nuclear power plants in some peoples back yards, but Dud wont say in whose back yards! "Coalition has a "women problem." well with Labor GY was able to tell from Katy Gallagher's body language that she's after the Treasurers jobs, then again she's only a women! The Noalition has 'Squeaky' Ley, she makes a good sidekick for Dud, does she have body language, me thinks not.

There is so much wrong with Dutton and the Noalition in general, that they cannot be taken seriously as an alternative government.

Indy,

How's it on your side, still got you snout firmly planted in the taxpayers aged welfare trough no doubt!

All good, you can vote for an Noalition government and have Dud Dutton cut your pension and impose a Medicare levy on you, make you pay full price for your monthly supply of 'Doz Easy' tabs. No fool like an old fool, so they say, and so many in abundance on this very forum.

This supports my theory on low education levels of RWNJ's

https://theconversation.com/age-and-education-key-demographics-in-governments-election-loss-anu-study-185374

The study found that in general 2022 Coalition voters tended to be older, indigenous, with low education, living outside the capitals and with household income that put them outside the bottom quintile.

Labor voters tended to have higher education levels, lived in the capitals, and had low incomes.

Greens voters tended to be women, young, born in Australia or another English-speaking country, and without a trade qualification.
