I know one of the girls involved, known her since she was in nappies as I was a friend of her mum.
The police brought the charges and compelled her to go though the court proceedings, against the 9 African defendants and the girl I know (15 at the time of the event) was forced to go to court and recount her story more than a dozen times, each time the defendants dragging it out, ajourning the case.

Not one time was my friends daughter, the victim ever offered any kind of victim support and as for the feminists and the media - they were nowhere to be seen.

No highlighting the case as doing so might be 'racist'

Two weeks ago the whole case ended, after my friends and her daughter (one of the girls in question) walked out of the courtroom only to face many of the accused standing out the front who abused her and her mother and belittled her and laughed about it.

After several suicide attempts / cries for help she couldn't take it anymore and decided that she did not wish to proceed any further.

Where were the feminists?
Where were the media?
Where was the victim support?
Where was the help in financial support to her mum who had to take time off work going to court at least a dozen times so that every defendant could drag the case out individually for nearly 2 years?
Some were even deported and never even faced court proceedings.

No, apparently you need to claim rape in parliament to get any attention.

I see that the Gander research paper on which you base your article concludes :

In other words, the declared objective of the research has proven impossible to achieve.

I find it difficult to imagine that the researchers ignored the fact that most sex cases brought before courts of justice produce a “not guilty” result – not because the accused is found innocent, but because it is impossible to prove guilt “beyond a reasonable doubt”. Most sex offences simply boil down to a question of “my word against yours”.

We all know that and have done for donkey’s ages. However professional researchers need to be seen publishing from time to time to maintain their reputation without ever being held to any obligation of result. In fact, they rarely come up with anything revolutionary. They’re not all Einstein by any stretch of the imagination.

This was obviously an easy subject of research with a foreseeable result and practically no risk of tarnishing the reputation of the researchers.

So why not ? It’s the sort of thing they’re paid to do anyway.

Are you speaking from experience ?

If so, better go for the Righties instead of the Lefties next time. That’s for sure !

That said, you have to be careful these days, Indyvidual, there’s lots of LGBTQIA+s around. Sorting out the Righties from the Lefties among all those biological, psychological, and sociological subcultures and identity politics is no easy task.

No sense jumping on the first human body that catches your eye (or some other part of your anatomy). You’ve got to do your homework first and you’ve got to get it right.

To play it safe, maybe you should just choose from among the non-“screaming”, “financially secure” female activists of the conservative political parties.

Mind you, there are also a number of think tanks that have a conservative focus as well as some conservative grass-roots movements such as Q Society of Australia, the far-right anti-Muslim association that works closely with the Australian Liberty Alliance.

Then there’s Senator Cory Bernardi's Conservative Leadership Foundation that’s dedicated to fostering community-based conservative leadership as well as the Sydney Traditionalist Forum and Edmund Burke's Club which has been described as "an association of 'old school' conservative, traditionalist and paleoconservative individuals".

So there are plenty of potential victims to choose from.

Of course, the problem with limiting yourself to the Righties ladies of these conservative organisations is that many of them could possibly be beyond the age bracket that gets you going and brings you on.

I guess that’s life, Indyvidual. You can’t have it both ways. Either you accept the risk and go for those exciting young, “screaming” Lefties who think you are a “financially secure heterosexual single white male” and take you to court, or you decide to play it safe and limit your undeniable talents to ravishing well-chosen conservative Oldies who might be delighted to succumb to your charms and technical prowess.

Whatever path you choose, Indyvidual, I’m sure you’ll serve the ladies well, irrespective of their political convictions and affiliations, Righties or Lefties.
