False rape allegations aren't so rare : Comments

By Bettina Arndt, published 20/10/2023

The myth that women hardly ever lie is a central plank of the feminist mythology about sexual assault which now underpins our justice system.

Higgins is going to get away with 3 million taxpayer dollars because of the "myths" about Australian females. Our you-beaut ultra-Left government wants to censor what we say, but it's all 'believe women' when they point the finger at some poor bloke and screech, rape!

It's just one aspect of the 'divide-and-keep-them-angry-at-each-other-and-anxious' routine of totalitarian governments.

The women who lie get away with it whilst in other cases where the rapes really did occur, the perpetrators get away with it.

Take this case right here.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-02-01/three-men-face-court-alleged-gang-rape-calamvale-brisbane/13107176

I know one of the girls involved, known her since she was in nappies as I was a friend of her mum.
The police brought the charges and compelled her to go though the court proceedings, against the 9 African defendants and the girl I know (15 at the time of the event) was forced to go to court and recount her story more than a dozen times, each time the defendants dragging it out, ajourning the case.

Not one time was my friends daughter, the victim ever offered any kind of victim support and as for the feminists and the media - they were nowhere to be seen.

No highlighting the case as doing so might be 'racist'

Two weeks ago the whole case ended, after my friends and her daughter (one of the girls in question) walked out of the courtroom only to face many of the accused standing out the front who abused her and her mother and belittled her and laughed about it.

After several suicide attempts / cries for help she couldn't take it anymore and decided that she did not wish to proceed any further.

Where were the feminists?
Where were the media?
Where was the victim support?
Where was the help in financial support to her mum who had to take time off work going to court at least a dozen times so that every defendant could drag the case out individually for nearly 2 years?
Some were even deported and never even faced court proceedings.

No, apparently you need to claim rape in parliament to get any attention.

Dear Bettina (the author),

.

I see that the Gander research paper on which you base your article concludes :

« … high-quality studies provide insufficient information to pinpoint the actual prevalence rate [of false sexual assault reports] or to devise meaningful upper bound estimates.

This reflects the inherent difficulties in separating fact from fiction in many sexual assault cases. It is doubtful that any study, largely regardless of how well it was resourced and conducted, could tightly estimate the prevalence rate. »

In other words, the declared objective of the research has proven impossible to achieve.

I find it difficult to imagine that the researchers ignored the fact that most sex cases brought before courts of justice produce a “not guilty” result – not because the accused is found innocent, but because it is impossible to prove guilt “beyond a reasonable doubt”. Most sex offences simply boil down to a question of “my word against yours”.

We all know that and have done for donkey’s ages. However professional researchers need to be seen publishing from time to time to maintain their reputation without ever being held to any obligation of result. In fact, they rarely come up with anything revolutionary. They’re not all Einstein by any stretch of the imagination.

This was obviously an easy subject of research with a foreseeable result and practically no risk of tarnishing the reputation of the researchers.

So why not ? It’s the sort of thing they’re paid to do anyway.

Banjo Paterson,
If we had a healthier social mentality so many socially inept Leftie females wouldn't scream rape the moment a financially secure heterosexual single white male comes into their vision !

Dear Indyvidual,

.

Are you speaking from experience ?

If so, better go for the Righties instead of the Lefties next time. That’s for sure !

That said, you have to be careful these days, Indyvidual, there’s lots of LGBTQIA+s around. Sorting out the Righties from the Lefties among all those biological, psychological, and sociological subcultures and identity politics is no easy task.

No sense jumping on the first human body that catches your eye (or some other part of your anatomy). You’ve got to do your homework first and you’ve got to get it right.

To play it safe, maybe you should just choose from among the non-“screaming”, “financially secure” female activists of the conservative political parties.

Mind you, there are also a number of think tanks that have a conservative focus as well as some conservative grass-roots movements such as Q Society of Australia, the far-right anti-Muslim association that works closely with the Australian Liberty Alliance.

Then there’s Senator Cory Bernardi's Conservative Leadership Foundation that’s dedicated to fostering community-based conservative leadership as well as the Sydney Traditionalist Forum and Edmund Burke's Club which has been described as "an association of 'old school' conservative, traditionalist and paleoconservative individuals".

So there are plenty of potential victims to choose from.

Of course, the problem with limiting yourself to the Righties ladies of these conservative organisations is that many of them could possibly be beyond the age bracket that gets you going and brings you on.

I guess that’s life, Indyvidual. You can’t have it both ways. Either you accept the risk and go for those exciting young, “screaming” Lefties who think you are a “financially secure heterosexual single white male” and take you to court, or you decide to play it safe and limit your undeniable talents to ravishing well-chosen conservative Oldies who might be delighted to succumb to your charms and technical prowess.

Whatever path you choose, Indyvidual, I’m sure you’ll serve the ladies well, irrespective of their political convictions and affiliations, Righties or Lefties.

Dear Indyvidual,

This is a free country, Indyvidual. You can frequent whomever you like, wherever you like, whenever you like, and as often as you like. I can’t say I share your attraction for “mere females of questionable variations” but it certainly doesn’t bother me.

As a matter of fact, I voted in favour of same-sex marriage in 2017.

Homosexuality is a perfectly natural phenomenon, just like heterosexuality. There is no such thing in nature as ‘the norm of the heterosexual union’. Both heterosexual and homosexual unions are ‘normal’. As Petter Boeckman, a zoologist at the Norwegian Natural History Museum of the University of Oslo, has pointed out: ‘No species has been found in which homosexual behaviour has not been shown to exist ... a part of the animal kingdom is hermaphroditic, truly bisexual. For them, homosexuality is not an issue.’ Boeckman observes social advantages to the free expression of homosexual behaviour and adds: ‘It has been observed that the homosexual couple are often better at raising the young than heterosexual couples.’ (source: http://pactiss.org/2011/11/17/1500-animal-species-practice-homosexuality/).

Religion historically regards homosexual sex acts as sinful, based essentially on an erroneous understanding of ‘natural law’ (the law of nature). Religious dogma is constantly proven wrong in its interpretation of nature by scientific research.

Also, the role of the State should be limited to the public – not the private – sphere, as per Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Individual freedom is one of the most important human rights, if not the most important human right, so far as I am concerned – limited only by the freedom of all others. The prohibition, criminalisation, and moral reprobation of consensual reproductive and sexual behaviours are all violations of the human right of the freedom of the individual.

It is your utmost right, Indyvidual, both legally and morally, to continue to frequent “ mere females of questionable variations” if you so wish.

When I was at uni the lefty women were known as the "hairy armpit brigade" due to their tendency to not shave their armpits. I assumed this was to prove they were not "feminine", for some reason of their twisted feminist mentality.

Banjo Paterson I always found it ridiculous to chase after birds, [ladies], like bees around a honey pot. Much better to sit back & & wait for some to come after you. That way you know they were more likely to be your kind of person, so you waste much less time & effort.

Dear Hasbeen,

.

That’s interesting. I’m afraid it never occurred to me to categorise women according to their political orientation. Maybe it’s because I’ve never seen a woman with armpit hair as you did.

Thanks, I'll keep it in mind.

That said, I have seen women with hair on their legs and I understand that that was because they were German – nothing to do with political orientation.

As a matter of fact, I don’t consider I’ve ever had any political orientation myself. I judge things, people, and events according to the moral code I inherited from my mother (I didn’t have a father) – no doubt influenced by the Christian culture in which I grew up, as well as the lifetime lessons that forged my character through many years of active participation in numerous team and individual sports – some of which I continue to practise today.

I place a very high value on my personal freedom. I adhere to no political party or ideology, make my own decisions, and assume my own responsibilities. I do my best to get to the bottom of things, learn the facts, and judge people and events on their merits.

Seen through a political lens, I guess that could correspond to leftist ideology, or perhaps centrist ideology, or maybe even rightist ideology.

I doubt that it could ever correspond to extremist ideology of any sort – but if it did, it would be an extremely rare, once-in-a-lifetime exception.
