Dear Indyvidual, . You wrote : « I've only ever seen mere females of questionable variations ! » . This is a free country, Indyvidual. You can frequent whomever you like, wherever you like, whenever you like, and as often as you like. I can’t say I share your attraction for “mere females of questionable variations” but it certainly doesn’t bother me. As a matter of fact, I voted in favour of same-sex marriage in 2017. Homosexuality is a perfectly natural phenomenon, just like heterosexuality. There is no such thing in nature as ‘the norm of the heterosexual union’. Both heterosexual and homosexual unions are ‘normal’. As Petter Boeckman, a zoologist at the Norwegian Natural History Museum of the University of Oslo, has pointed out: ‘No species has been found in which homosexual behaviour has not been shown to exist ... a part of the animal kingdom is hermaphroditic, truly bisexual. For them, homosexuality is not an issue.’ Boeckman observes social advantages to the free expression of homosexual behaviour and adds: ‘It has been observed that the homosexual couple are often better at raising the young than heterosexual couples.’ (source: http://pactiss.org/2011/11/17/1500-animal-species-practice-homosexuality/). Religion historically regards homosexual sex acts as sinful, based essentially on an erroneous understanding of ‘natural law’ (the law of nature). Religious dogma is constantly proven wrong in its interpretation of nature by scientific research. Also, the role of the State should be limited to the public – not the private – sphere, as per Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. Individual freedom is one of the most important human rights, if not the most important human right, so far as I am concerned – limited only by the freedom of all others. The prohibition, criminalisation, and moral reprobation of consensual reproductive and sexual behaviours are all violations of the human right of the freedom of the individual. It is your utmost right, Indyvidual, both legally and morally, to continue to frequent “ mere females of questionable variations” if you so wish. . When I was at uni the lefty women were known as the "hairy armpit brigade" due to their tendency to not shave their armpits. I assumed this was to prove they were not "feminine", for some reason of their twisted feminist mentality.
Banjo Paterson I always found it ridiculous to chase after birds, [ladies], like bees around a honey pot. Much better to sit back & & wait for some to come after you. That way you know they were more likely to be your kind of person, so you waste much less time & effort. Posted by Hasbeen, Monday, 23 October 2023 1:13:13 PM

Dear Hasbeen, . That’s interesting. I’m afraid it never occurred to me to categorise women according to their political orientation. Maybe it’s because I’ve never seen a woman with armpit hair as you did. Thanks, I'll keep it in mind. That said, I have seen women with hair on their legs and I understand that that was because they were German – nothing to do with political orientation. As a matter of fact, I don’t consider I’ve ever had any political orientation myself. I judge things, people, and events according to the moral code I inherited from my mother (I didn’t have a father) – no doubt influenced by the Christian culture in which I grew up, as well as the lifetime lessons that forged my character through many years of active participation in numerous team and individual sports – some of which I continue to practise today. I place a very high value on my personal freedom. I adhere to no political party or ideology, make my own decisions, and assume my own responsibilities. I do my best to get to the bottom of things, learn the facts, and judge people and events on their merits. Seen through a political lens, I guess that could correspond to leftist ideology, or perhaps centrist ideology, or maybe even rightist ideology. I doubt that it could ever correspond to extremist ideology of any sort – but if it did, it would be an extremely rare, once-in-a-lifetime exception. .
