By Peter Bowden, published 3/2/2023

Charles acquiesced to the dismissal of an Australian Prime Minister, Gough Whitlam. We should never allow this in the future.

Now back to the Monarchy.

A special Roy Morgan SMS Poll on September 12, 2022
with an Australia wide cross-section found that 60%
believe Australia should remain a Monarchy while only
40% should become a Republic.

This survey was conducted entirely after Prince Charles
took the oath on the week-end he became King Charles III.

So it appears that in order for any Referendum to pass
on this subject - more information is going to be needed
for Australians to change their minds.

We now have an Assistant Minister for the Republic of Australia,
Matt Thistlewaite. However as stated earlier the government's
top priority is constitutional recognition of our First Nations
people by enshrining an Indigenous Voice to Parliament.

We shall have to wait for anything to happen until after the
2025 election.

Hey ttbn,
Trump's relationship with Lindsay Graham is becoming a little too close for comfort.

Lindsey Graham says there is 'only one Donald Trump' and the GOP can't have 'Trump policies' without him

The final program is to have a section in Government where aboriginal and Torris Straight vote for representatives.

The activists pushing for the Voice won’t tell you this, but Victoria has a version of it already legislated. And right now, Melbourne’s mini-voice is demanding a “Black Parliament” – their words.
In 2019, Dan Andrews set up what became known as the First Peoples’ Assembly. There to “represent Traditional Owners of Country and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Victoria”, it has an “Elders’ Voice”, its own constitution, runs its own Indigenous-only elections and meets in the Victorian Parliament.

Its priority is to negotiate a “treaty” with the Victorian Government.
Using $65 million of Victorian taxpayers’ money, it’s pushing changes to Victoria’s democracy that will see power shift away from ordinary Victorian voters.
.
These are some of the “First Peoples’ Assembly” specific goals for the treaty2:
Establishing a permanent representative body with meaningful decision-making powers – a “Black Parliament” of sorts.
Having a number of seats in the Victorian Parliament that members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community vote for.
First Peoples oversight of the Victorian Government and public service for the benefit of First Peoples.
And the Andrews Government is backing them, saying in the announcement of the Treaty Framework3:
Treaty is a significant step towards transferring power and resources to First nations Peoples…

indyvidual,

That's because only racists are against our national
broadcaster that costs the average taxpayer such a

AC,

Sorry. I don't know what you are talking about. I don't take much notice of ousted foreign politicians (Trump was good while he was there, but I don't think he will be back, thanks to the stupidity of Americans), and I have no idea who Lindsey Graham is.

My only interest in America is their ability to help protect us from China, and I am very pleased to see that they are increasing their military presence in the Philippines, which is constantly threatened by China. Despite the Democrats and their demented President, it seems that the U.S still has what it takes - more than can be said for our own morons in Canberra.
