I do not want Charles : Comments

By Peter Bowden, published 3/2/2023

Charles acquiesced to the dismissal of an Australian Prime Minister, Gough Whitlam. We should never allow this in the future.

Nor I! That said, the UK may become a republic before we do. We do not lead but like a good little pavlovian, blindly follow idiotic ideologies.

No wonder oldies are getting a reputation as being blithering old goats, when blithering old goats like Peter Bowden are allowed to advertise their stupidity in pieces like this.

Granted Charlie is a bit of a misguided twit, but that is probably because too many Peter Bowden types were involved in his upbringing & education.

Rather than getting rid of the monarchy we should be getting rid of the university culture that fosters ratbag lefties to our detriment. The monarchy does us very little harm, & nothing like that we would suffer as a republic controlled by billionaires & ratbags like Bowden.

Too right! If one of the corgis was on the throne, the Monarchy would still be preferable to a republic.

As for silly old goats. Like the silly younger goats, the silliest have been through the brainwashing mills, sometimes called universities.

I don't like Charles, but he is much less of an embarrassment than our Ocker Prime Minister who is intent on doing as much harm to Australia as he can over three years.

What Foxy says.

What does it matter who the head of state is or if Charles is not on our bank notes.

Here's the thing. There're 3 billion people on the planet whose principal source of energy is wood and dung. China and India between them are opening one new coal fired power station every week! That's gotta be good news, eh?

I mean we mine arguably the best thermal coal in the world and prices have never been higher. We should be making a mottsa? Yes?

Well, no, the foreign price gouging tax avoiding profit repatriating MF foreign owners are!

So, who gives a phuck who the phucking head of state is. If we still owned enough of our country, it might matter.

Or if our pollies weren't, I believe, in the pockets of narrow vested interest, we just might get an energy policy that worked for us and our economy instead of one that simply screws joe average for all it is worth.

Even if Charles 11 is a climate change warrior, what can he do to change the aforementioned.

I hope Australia does become a Republic, but as Foxy says it can’t happen until at least after the next election, and in the meantime were have more consequential constitutional issues to consider.

Charles is an idiot. Given time, I suspect he may prove to be the republican movement’s greatest asset; ably supported by his brother and youngest son.

I have just wasted 5 minutes of my life reading the Article.

I now know what Mr.Bowden thinks of Charles.

I didn't care that I didn't know of his opinion before and I care even less now.

I want my 5 minutes back!
