The quest to not understand has been aided by the conspiracy label attached to the three individuals.

Hi AC, re "What does it matter? Everyone's dead."

26,239,055* of we Aussies proudly still live and in Our Country. A country less touched by the Trump induced Clashes Weakening Democracy (CWD) causing such sadness in the US.

Hi Indyvidual and Alan B.

Seems more like counter-terrorism or police criminal matter.

Could the QLD Police have handled things better?

Maverick,
Will they ever disclose why they handled it the way they did ? I think we can fairly safely assume that bureaucracy was a cog in that gear & that is invariably a point that things could very likely have been done with a better outcome. Police generally & thankfully do a good job but as we are all aware their efforts are always hampered by the 'system' !
The tragic fact is that many crimes could be prevented if the people who demand being kept safe on one hand yet on the other hand vehemently oppose crime-preventing discipline !

Maverick,
The last sentence in my post got cut short, what I meant was;

...if the people who demand being kept safe on one hand yet on the other hand vehemently oppose crime-preventing discipline, made up their minds as to what they want !
