Do we really need another anti-America, anti- Trump book to 'get' "the best ideas in academia, government and public diplomacy"?

The "hostile relationship with the rising power of the People’s Republic of China and away from the friendly and constructive association that was built by Labor …".

Labor could certainly be said to want to be friendly with the Communist dictatorship, even now; even though all the 'hostility' (to the country they want to lead) comes from the CCP dictators and homicidal maniacs.

But, it is highly unlikely that unknown "Carrillo Gantner ….trained as an actor", also described as 'arty farty', will be able to 'counter' Clive Hamilton's excellent publications. And that he was "an active participant" in setting the Chinese trap we are now in, with no qualifications to be involved … well, what can be said about such a bizarre occurrence!

It seems that some Australians need to see Sydney looking like Kiev looks now before they get the message about the Chinese Communist Party and its truly awful leader.

Yes, the breakdown in the relationship not all China's fault. But some of the blame must be shared by, shoot from the lip, Morrison.

Nonetheless, a huge overreaction by China to the P.M's desire to have an inquiry into the origins of covid.

And their moves in the Pacific haven't helped either!

I think China's attitude to its neighbours such as Vietnam and
the Phillipines shows us all we need to know.
The Central Kingdom has not changed its spots, just adapted to
the current scene. Just watch the developments with the Belt & Roads
schemes in Asia and Africa. I can hear the chains clanking from here.

Carrillo Gantner is spot on with his assessment of Australia's failures with its China relationship and the Morrison "shoot from the lip" diplomacy. In typical right wing Neanderthal style ttbn describes Gantner as the "arty farty" type, despite his reasoning and long experience with China matters, can't have these left wing arty farty types telling us anything. Bazz if Vietnam and the Phillipines (Not sure where the Phillipines actually is, is it a new country where they worship the dead remains of Prince Phillip.) had been an inch or two closer to the Yanks they would have been fully incorporated long ago.
