Leaders decide our policy positions relative to China. And the best leader is one who is a big picture person able to delegate and allow others to be across the minutia!

Why have dogs if you do your own barking? And many right wing media outlets know this and still set out to get a gotcha moment based on unimportant 0.1%, 4% minutia? The economy? Well elbow has a degree in economics and that's more than you can say for (shoot from the lip) (I don't hold a hose) Morrison?

I believe our policy to ward China is to speak softly and carry a big stick in a velvet glove. The Chinese equivalent is, softly, softly catchee monkey.

Our stick at the moment is barely a fig leaf and needs some serious beefing up before we take China to task for anything, even her, belt and road adventures in our backyard!

ttbn said "Labor could certainly be said to want to be friendly with the Communist dictatorship, even now; even though all the 'hostility' (to the country they want to lead) comes from the CCP dictators and homicidal maniacs. "

Answer- You're wrong- it's not even now- it's especially now. ;) .
