Well put Ipso fatso! I could not have said it better! Sadly one of the first casualties of war is the truth! And one only needs to look at ttbn's contribution to understand that, in spades!

You off-the-cuff commentators, especially those whose posts look like shopping lists: no sentences, no paragraphs, need to start reading some books.

Alan,

You old schizophrenic, calling me mate and agreeing with me a couple of days ago, but now casting aspersions on my ability to tell the truth. You could have been Vice President to the comedian in Ukraine.

Here's the real question.

It is becoming more and more apparent. As time passes, the Russian invasion is stalled.

The Ukrainians are winning on the ground.

Putin is countering the defeat with bombardments of civilians FROM Belarus, Crimea, and Russia. He thinks the military will be demoralised.

The question: Whatwill the west to do when Ukranians start attacking the military bombardment sites in Belarus, Crimea and Russia? That's why they are saving their aircraft and why Biden doesn't want them to have those Polish Migs.

The gutless Americans, Europeans and others, standing in gallant support of Ukraine, but refusing them aircraft and not allowing no fly zones, will never support the counter attack into Russia and Belarus.

Of course the cowards will all stand and utter support for their Ukranian 'friends, but all will condemn such Ukrainian attacks as 'unlawful, barbaric escalations.'

Watch them. They'll show their usual colour, of cowardice, because they fear the Big Bully Boy, one of their ilk, Putin the petty bureaucrat.

What are the stupid Chinese going to think and how will their support of Putin and Russia's defeat be seen within the cowardly CCCP and across the world? The opening chasms of fear, loss of face, of money and of trade in their already crashing economy will tear them utterly apart. The signs are already occurring.

The Ukranians have stood up to the bully while the managerial elites in the west dither. Biden, Psaki, Trudeau, Boris, Macon and all their other comrades, among the 'educated elite socialists and bureaucrats', across the 'free world', all look silly and as hypocritical as they are.

Our magnificent useless 'leaders', spout magnificent articulate words, but not truth, and continually do next to nothing.

The Ukranians, with their magnificent leaders, are showing how they should all behave. As Trump did. (Who is Zelenski's Deputy? Here is a tip, it is a woman, she's armed too.)

Our useless leaders can't even behave decently. It's just not in their 'educated elite DNA'.

Lot of waffle about no fly zones.
To have no fly zones you need to take out the surface to air sites.
Then your aircraft can enforce no fly on the enemy.
However most of the sams are in the southern areas would be in Russia
or in Northern areas in Belarus.
That could just be what Putin the nutter is waiting on.

The Russian army is suffering huge and unsustainable losses. Although Putin's autocracy is a Nazi regime, unlike Nazi Germany the conventional army is not state of the art and poorly organised. However, it is very good at killing unarmed civilians, especially women and children, as well as destroying cities and infrastructure.

I think the next six weeks will be critical. If the Ukranian army can maintain a well organised and equipped force it could disable over half the invading force by that time. I observe with interest.

I wonder what the Ukrainians thought when they took the risk they did ? Did they really believe the West would risk triggering WW3 just because Ukraine wanted to be independent ?
It's a dreadful stalemate.
