'If you make China the enemy, China will be the enemy': the Australia-China conflict : Comments

By Teck Lim, published 29/6/2021

The question is can Australia and other Western nations work towards untying the China bell around their neck?

"Thirdly, in contrast to the rise of China which has been peaceful and within its own borders "

There are a lot of African nations that would disagree with this piece of propaganda and utter racist rubbish. China is a menacing and extremely rapacious colonial power.

Peaceful? Right, if you overlook the Uighurs and incarceration and MURDERS of any Chinese citizens who question the Communist Party.

"You’d have your eyes gouged out as payment for treachery, for those remarks." What, for advocating peaceful international relationships? Get a grip, Diver!

"As for 'so many glaringly inaccurate, bigoted and sensationalist claims'. . . would you care to name them, exactly?" Well, Cody, here's one delightful sample, which I won't dignify by commenting on any further, other than to observe that it truly epitomises the depravity of LEGO's mind. "God knows how many Chinese starved to death under that child molesting idiot Mao (who screwed a virgin every night), and the CCP will never tell us." I will happily counter any claim you wish to make about China if it's made in a fair and rational manner.

And how many millions did die of starvation under Mao? How many Uighers suffer now? Any idea? Any evidence to the contrary?

Dear Cody,

«And how many millions did die of starvation under Mao?»

The Uyghurs envy them for they suffer no longer. Having left their dwindling bodies behind, they managed to escape China and be free.

The German Nazis only wanted to destroy the Jews' bodies, so once they went up the chimneys, the German Nazis were happy, but for the Chinese this isn't enough, they want to capture their victims' souls too.

Why aren't their concentration camps being bombed?

Dear Bronwyn the appeaser.

Your metathetical ability of transposing lies into truth, is naive. Your what’s called a useful idiot.
Unfortunately for you, your on the wrong team, as all too often those types are.

I don’t expect you will follow my suggestion, but a very apt historical novel, based on the dangers of appeasement, is Kazuo Ishiguro‘s “The remains of the day”.

Life can be a learning curve!

Dan.
