As a white person, Foxy, I experience racism against my race every day. The absurd premise of "white privelege" is in fact racism against the white race. It presupposes that the entire white race is doing something insidious to deny equality to dysfunctional minorities. So, if aboriginal women get murdered at a rate 8 times greater than everyone else, blame the white guy. 6 year old Aboriginal kids being screened for sexiually transmitted diseases? That's the white man's fault too. Pacific Islanders, aborigines, Lebanese and Vietnamese being jailed for crimes of violence and drug trafficking at much higher rates than other people in Australian society? Who ya gunna blame? The white race of course.

In the USA, according one report by a Nicholas Stix, (The Colour of Crime) , blacks are 39 times more likely to commit an act of violence against whites, as whites are against blacks. * Between 2001 and 2003, blacks committed, on average, 15,400 black-on-white rapes per year, while whites averaged only 900 white-on-black rapes per year.

Based on these figures, Foxy, which race is more racist?

Then there was the so called "stolen generations" fable. This slander was completely squashed by the High Court of Australia, with the removal of aboriginal children from their uncaring, drunken, drug affected partents (still going on today at a greater rate) by one High Court judge "a humanitarian obligation."

But this humanitarian policy, which was originally proposed by the Australian Communist Party and adopted by our responsible state and federal governments as a worthy humanitarian assistance to deprived and neglected aboriginal children, was turned around by the Left itself to be portrayed as genocide by the white Australians against the poor, oppressed aboriginal people. This amounted to promoting outright racial hatred of the white race by the left. But Foxy does not care what the truth is. Her compulsive need to be thought of as anti racist and compassionate to blacks, and her compulsive need to self flagellate and virtue signal, means she is perfectly prepared to believe any slanderous charge against her own race.

India got itself into a terrible position because the arrogant privileged elite, made their money off of poverty-stricken slumdogs who could not stay home when sick!

The privileged elite the world over believe that they're deserving of their wealth and privileged positions?

And racism is not peculiar to the white race! Touring West Indian player can recall rude Indian fans jabbering away and hurling insults that compared these players to monkeys!

As a son of a deserted single mum trying to raise four kids on her Pat Malone, we four were regularly bullied by the more privileged, just for being poor!

When I graduated as an Army medic, the young Doctors in the room knew that theirs didn't smell. And were very surprised when a kid who hadn't completed a single year in high school, not only bested them but did so with a passing grade that broke an unassailed 70-year record.

Moreover, when I move to Tasmania I managed a 100% result when I had to requalify. And all of the above part of a validating public record!

I've lived a life that proves that underserving privilege uses its power and position to preserve and indeed uses bogus argument to justify their positions!

The endless argument that if you have a go, you'll get a go holds little if any water! Given the expectations of the privileged elite!

Ask yourself, how many board position go to the ablest? And how many are handed on to members of the old school tie?

And how many employers claim the credit for the ideas/intellectual property of employees, but instead have them purloined for peanuts by the greedy employer? Who sees it as a right extended by privilege and rank?

The article reeks to the high heavens, I believe, with more of the same BS the privileged elite use to preserve their positions and master-servant, stations in life.

White privilege is an absence of the consequences
of racism. An absence of structural discrimination.
An absence of their race being viewed as a problem
first and foremost.

Is it not unreasonable to think that white skinned people who came from colder climates simply became more adept at building things, like houses to stay warm and places to store food though the winter;
Where dark skinned people came from places where there was less need to build houses that would protect one from the cold, and didn't need to store food as it was more abundant all year round.

Think about that.
Did this reality place white people as better builders, who built towns, cities, trading routes, shipping and commerce from those colder colder climates than darker skinned people, who continued with a more tribal existence far longer?

If this is the case then white privileged isn't white privileged.
The truth is white skinned probably had to work a lot harder and smarter to survive in those colder climates.

I would like to refute Alan B's, reply, as he has made some very good points which are collectively way off the mark.

Privilege has existed in every society throughout history, so just pointing to a particular privilege in even a very egalitarian society and then claiming that this proves that the whole social system is rotten, is nonsensical. This is what the left is trying to do with western civilization, the most fair, least racist, least sexist, least privileged, most representative, social system in human history.

What Lawrence Maher is talking about in his topic, is refuting the claim that western civilisation somehow benefits whites only. The proof of the pudding is that within white western society, Asian people do even better than whites. Why? Because on average, Asian people on average are around 3 to 10 IQ points smarter than white people. Therefore, the key to understanding success or dysfunction within western society is IQ.

Within any society, those at the bottom will posses either a low IQ or have IQ "talents" that are more common in society. Those at the top are, on the whole, much more smarter or they may possess IQ "talents" which are rarer and in demand. Smart lower caste people of any race are generally upwardly mobile in white western society. Dumb upper class people are generally protected from social decay through family money and connections. That is privilege, and it exists in every society. The character of the completely clueless upper class twit is a favourite character in many movies.

The idea that everybody is equal, is a left wing socialist ideal, and it is complete malarky.

The failure of the left's ideology, which claims that all the people comprising all the classes and races are equal, is self evidently not reflected in achievement. This inconvenient fact has to be explained away. The left does that by sucking up to their new dysfunctional, non white, non Asian, low IQ electors, by blaming white people for their electors lack of success.

Claiming "white privilege" exists is just anti white racism.
