If the NRL is actually being punished for its wokeness and meddling in things outside its area - good. They deserve it. Freedom of speech and expression is more important than any sport. People need to do something useful for themselves rather than watching a bunch of boofheads paid too much to muck about with a ball.

Football is the gauge by which to judge the mentality of many of a Nation's voters. I'm still waiting to hear of a country where football is assigned to the history books !

Banning Folau is not any kind of answer.

The Irish Times pointed out:
"If it seems nasty that some religious people
think gays are going to hell. Guess what?

So you want to completely muzzle ABC workers but happy to let a bloke who repeatedly broke his contract to keep his job?

If you are so much for free speech then do the honest thing and support it fully. Don't pick and choose according to your ideological bent. It makes you look like a tosser.
