I was comparing presidential elections to presidential elections - ie 2016 to 2020. Comparing 2018 to 2020 is irrelevant.

BTW, I used Georgia as an example. Check other states also.

The trouble is that people like SR and plannie treat this like a footy grand final. Their team won - hurrah. But its not footy - its a threat to western civilisation.
I'm not in mourning for the loss of democratic principles but I am trying to understand what's going on and the ramifications for me and mine.

The ruling elite in the US is seeking to implement a one-party state to ensure that the 'deplorables' never again rise to power. Its important to understand what's going on here.

What I also find mildly amusing is that people like SR and plannie, who fell lock stock and barrel for the Russian collusion story, a story that had zero evidence to support it, now assert that anyone who gives credence to ample evidence of fraud in this election is deluded. The delusion was falling for the deep states attempt to overturn the 2016 election and that delusion is compounded by the failure to recognise the clear signs of electoral malfeasance in 2020

The fact that you haven't provided a link twice now usually means it's dodgy.

No the 2018 election is not irrelevant at all. It shows an evolving uptake and familiarisation around absentee voting. The fact that there was widespread advice that during a COVID year not to attend polling booths if possible explains the significant jump.

Why are you intent on making this something it isn't.

Yes Galen, poor old Joe's cognitive skills, such as they were, are unravelling at a pace. But this was clear to anyone who looked beyond the headlines back to at least the beginning of 2020.

It was part of the conspiracy to oust Trump that the obvious problems with Biden were papered over and/or hidden by the combined efforts of the legacy media and big Tech. It is now clear that Biden is a mere figure head and that others behind the scenes, including wife Jill, are the real power.

They are going to try to keep the charade going until 2022 when Harris will be installed after Biden retires of is removed via the 25th amendment. Its already reported that Harris is taking on many of Joe's nominal duties and that overseas leaders are ringing her rather than the nominal president. Of course Harris is really just a figure-head for the Obama wing of the Democrats.

Linked to this is the destruction of Andrew Cuomo. He was the only candidate that stood a chance to upset this little arrangement and take the Democrat Party leadership away from the powers behind the throne. So now he is being nuked. Everything that the media is now revealing about Cuomo has been known for a year - the deliberate endangerment of the elderly, the sexual harassment, the graft. But it was all suppressed by the deep state in the effort to remove Trumpism. Now that that has been achieved, Cuomo is surplus to needs and therefore is being driven out of public life, much as they tried to do with Trump.

Its how one-party states work.
