The information in the press at the time of the Ayatollah Khomeini's fatwa on Salmon Rushdie stated that Yusuf Islam was asked if he would kill Rushdie, and he said that he would. Now we have an OLO article where when asked if he would kill Rushdie, he said "not in a western country." That means he would unhesitatingly kill Rushdie himself if he was in a Muslim country, where he would be presumably hailed a hero for doing so.

The reason why this formerly peaceful hippie singer is now prepared to murder a writer, is because he is a Muslim, and Mohammad himself asked his followers to murder a writer who mocked him. Since the behaviour of this evil "prophet" is considered exemplary in Islam, then the culture of Muslims is to kill anyone who criticises Islam.

This fact alone makes Islam incompatible with the west. We are importing people into this country who will kill you if you criticise their religion. And Islam is one religion which is in dire need of a lot of criticism. It is violent, cruel, terrorism endorsing, homophobic, socially backward, and misogynist to boot. The devotees of this religion have proven to be a real problem in western countries for their refusal to assimilate. They inhabit increasingly Muslim only ghettoes where they ignore the secular laws of the countries which they have aspired to become citizens of, and have very high rates of welfare dependency and very high rates of serious violent crime, usually directed at non Muslims.

Quite frankly, we could find much better immigrants than these. People who can contribute and not just take, take, take, while openly displaying their contempt for the society many of them forced their way into.

If there are "peaceful" versions of Islam, then good luck to them. Please stay in your own countries and convert the overwhelming majority of violent ones to your "peaceful" religion, and leave us westerners alone at peace in our own
