I know little about 'proud boys' however they obviously are not as violent and perverted as the antifa/greens/marxist. The "Proud Boy" movement arose in direct opposition to the ANTIFA fascists who were smashing the statues of Confederate war dead memorials. The ANTIFA movement has grown exponentially in some university cities to the point of being the most fashionable thing you can do next to going to rave parties. There are a few YouTube films showing ANTIFA activists in cities like Portland standing in city intersections telling city motorists to go away, while police officers just look on. It is said in Portland that you can get away with anything if you just dress in black and wrap a checkered Shemargh around your face.

Sadly, the rise of two opposing groups ready to use violence is indicative of how divided western societies have become. It is also an object lesson that freedom of speech must be protected. Groups like ANTIFA, famous for shutting down university debates, must not be allowed to continue doing so. The alternative is that those people who oppose their ideas and who are denied a voice, will resort to violence to get themselves heard.

My last sentence is not a justification for violence. It is simply a statement of fact that violence will occur if people are not allowed to speak and reason. Democracy can only exist in the light of informed debate. It will die in the darkness of political censorship.
