Happy 25 millionth! People are precious – and not the problem. : Comments

By Barry York, published 15/8/2018

Utter baseness is a distinctive trait of Malthus - a baseness which can only he indulged in by a parson who sees human suffering as the punishment for sin.

Like they failed you.

Frankly, the nature of the comments is such that they aren't worth responding to. There's too much assertion, most of it unsubstantiated. The people who once did seriously engage in debate are no longer active here and an echo-chamber of dogmatists now seems to dominate. It's remarkable, for instance, that no-one has challenged my data from the UNFAO showing how grain production has outstripped population growth. As for the anti-communist ritualists, you might like to read this: https://sites.google.com/site/communistmanifestoproject/booklet (Not holding my breath, though).

Good article Barry. Dire earthly limits exercise a few people in the comments. Last year I did a short YouTube piece panning limits to growth stuff and the view that we can't provide for a growing global population. Check it out folks. https://youtu.be/JfMT_DKtkcU

jayb: can you name me one, other than the exception to the Rule, Singapore, that Marxism or Socialism has benefited the people as a whole.

No answer?

jayb: Communism failed & Socialism has failed everywhere it's been implemented. Their result. Millions murdered, or just, disappeared.

Explanation as to why, please?

Jayb: I await your answer with baited breath, knowing that it will never come.

Guess I was right, again, Ay.

Jayb, I did respond. I drew your attention to a document called Rescuing the Communist Manifesto which addresses the failure of 'communism'. I provided the link. I'm not holding my breath for you to read it carefully, as you do not seem to be open minded enough. The smug ritualism of the echo chamber is much easier.

Here's the link again. Last opportunity from me. https://sites.google.com/site/communistmanifestoproject/rescuing

I also wrote an article on the Communist Manifesto. It is found at: http://www.onlineopinion.com.au/view.asp?article=12693

Its title is "Why so many Corpses?" It makes the case that the Manifesto contains a recipe for making corpses.
