UCLA's brother/sister campus, the University of California, Berkley, already not only has segregated housing for black students but for other racial minorities such as Asians and Hispanics.

Yes, Individual, we are a divided nation sleepwalking to a world as inviting as the desolate side of the dark moon. And it just doesn't have to be that way!

Once the conservative side of politics were the progressives. And were responsible for abolishing slavery, child labour, and introducing the emancipation act. And a time when the stock market operated on pragmatic principles that just shared risk and profit. Not the nonsense of massively manipulated capital gain.

And before the era of money for nothing, derivatives and securitized mortgages. And before we sold our economic sovereignty to the lowest bidders for the modern day equivalent of forty pieces of silver. At the behest of quisling pollies who pretend to care or possess anything remotely resembling Christian values.

We went through a post-war period of unprecedented prosperity where one income could buy a house, support a family, provide a serviceable secondhand vehicle and annual holidays.

This was a time before we privatised energy and still owned and operated banks, a telco, a couple of airlines and all essential service.

Only sold, I believe, so incompetent pollies could buy votes from folks too stupid to see they and THEIR ASSETS were being sold down the river?

Now I believe in private enterprise and entrepreneurs having a crack, always providing their representatives don't sell the ground under them.

We need to de-privatise both energy and capital, in the knowledge that these are the very pillars just two, that alone support every western style economy. Then use them and the most successful private enterprise, economic model, cooperative capitalism to quite massively turbocharge our economy.

Martin Luther King was a fraud. Everything that came from his mouth and pen was plagiarised. His domestic life wasn't all that flash either.

ttbn,
Whose dream are you accusing him of plagiarising?

Here's the thing. We've been going backwards at a rate of knots and by endlessly concentrating our finite wealth in too few hands. Where belligerent leaders stroll the world stage demanding increased military spending, almost as if they believe, sovereign nations can be bullied into compliance.

As we face a very real prospect of the dream of a better world, the world that combined to rescue thirteen trapped football players from what could have easily been their tomb. And in the process created invaluable goodwill!

This is how it's done and without the need for aggressive sabre rattling And as simple as lifting the prohibition on the peaceful development of walk away safe MSR thorium.

And using that CLEAN SAFE DISPATCHABLE AFFORDABLE CARBON FREE POWER. In the vanguard in the war against poverty, unmet need and want. As the affordable and essential power source that makes cottage industries, profitable cooperative, free market, private enterprise.

And the power source to drought-proof whole nations, with AFFORDABLE DEIONISATION DIALYSIS DESALINATION!

All while turning dust bowls the world over into productive food bowls. that in combination with the foregoing, lift the bottom two-thirds of the populated world out of endemic and oft times, generational poverty.

Replacing that abhorrence with unprecedented worldwide, progressive prosperity. Like China, instead of being places needing foreign aid, becomes a new source of it. Plus new trading partners for the so-called developed world.

And in that very process, also lifting and increasing their wealth and prospects as a win-win all round outcome!

Armageddon or a thousand years of peace and prosperity for all?

Chose your preference. We can do one or the other! Not both!

I've read the article by this author - and it
is a concern that this is happening not only on
one university campus but quite a few. Rather
than condemning the students for their
requests - perhaps we should be asking - Why is
this happening?

Is there a widespread sense that
university administrators are not sensitive to
the concerns of minority students speaking up
about injustices on campus? Are university campus
climates not welcoming to minority students?

Are minority students really being "coddled" or
are they simply seeking basic respect in environments
that are tailored to white students' needs?

The very first thing we need is to be saved from the con men who have convinced the weak minded that CO2 is the embodiment of all evil.

Then we need to get rid of grand orators. A quick look at history will prove that. Hitler & Churchill between them killed millions, & Obama destroyed the future for millions.

I have no idea of Kings motives, but I would not be surprised if they were no more humanitarian that the above three.
