I don't get this transgenderism rubbish. With homosexual 'marriage' the aim was plain to see: wreck traditional marriage and wreck the family, which the Marxists hate because they cannot control it. That has been successful. Very, very few homosexuals have chosen to 'marry'; nobody cares any more than they ever did about poofters and dykes, but marriage has certainly been wrecked.
Get it. So what's the drum on a few poor weirdos and/or perverts? Posted by ttbn, Friday, 29 June 2018 10:20:43 AM

Okay. So what? You have a problem with women choosing who they admit into their club?
How in heavens name does that hurt you or somehow diminish your rights? Grow up and get a life! One of your own! And just get over the SSM result. All this garbage and rearguard propaganda isn't going to change any of that! Or the yes vote or tomorrow's by-elections! Since the dawn of time women have had to fit for basic decent common equal rights and since that time, have had to fight against obstinant obtuse recalcitrant intransigence as observed here! And if they get it and you don't? Whose problem is that? Leave the poor bastards alone, you've done enough harm and then some, already! Alan B. Posted by Alan B., Friday, 29 June 2018 11:40:44 AM

?Now that the LGBT community have descended into civil war, with the evidence pointing towards a fracture among the Heinz 57 varieties of queer. Can the 98% of normal human beings, which represent the vast majority, please have the rainbow reinstated into children's literature, with it's benign originality focused towards the comfort of little children, rather than the opposite it has become; the outrageous symbol of filth and anti-social bunkum?

Suicide rates are quite high among transgender people.
I found this poem on the web: "It's not a case of love for all It's not a case of standing tall And because our minds can't break the fall We submit to solitude Condemned to lifelong idle fear Atop the ridge of our frontier Our bodies freeze, the fragile queer With a shockwave to the heart The sunrays shine upon the day But they don't find us anyway And now it seems unwise to stay Waiting only to depart." The rainbow is such a beautiful emblem of childhood
and innocence - and all of us human beings were children once. If only we could see the world through innocent childish eyes - perhaps we could make it a better place for us all? I would rather look at a rainbow than listen to what's coming out of some people's mouths and posts on this forum. There are people who hide their own inadequacies by attacking others. I think this sums the issue up:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/05/22/labour-allows-male-activist-stand-womens-officer-identifies/ This guy applied for the position of women's officer in the labour party based on identifying as a woman on Wednesdays as he was entitled to do according to the rules, and the only way the labour party could stop him was to expel him from the party. I particularly like his expression in the photo. Now we have a dude who can't cut it in the male AFL playing professional women's AFL. Soon women's sport will be dudettes. This is never going to work.
How can anyone tell if the person claiming to be a transgender, is not in reality a sick male deviate. This just grants such deviates and sexual predators unquestioned admittance to shopping centre female toilets and female facilities. I think most mothers of young daughters aren’t going to accept this at all. I would certainly complain if I saw a person looking even a little bit too much like a male in a female toilet if I happened to encounter one. And I have nothing against transsexuals, homosexuals, lesbians, but I think they should have a unisex toilet of their own, where they won’t scare the hell out of women who think there’s a man in the toilet with them. It’s got nothing to do with discrimination, it’s got to do with the practicality of making this work when there will be men who will certainly use this as a free pass to,enter women’s facilities with less than good intentions. Uni sex toilets, that’s it. Anything else is unworkable Posted by CHERFUL, Saturday, 30 June 2018 9:33:50 PM
| |
Actually, I would be ok with Lesbians using female toilets because they have used women’s toilets for years and it is obvious they are women, not men, so male sexual predators wouldn’t be able to claim femaleness like someone claiming to be transgender could and that’s where the real problem is.

You do realise Cherful that you could get yourself into trouble by referring to males identifying as females as males. They are starting to win more races. Unfortunately for females identifying as males its not the same. I know its confusing!

"Uni sex toilets, that’s it. Anything else is unworkable."
The thing that's actually unworkable is this concept that there's more than 2 genders, or that you can change your gender if you don't like what you were born with. What we are doing is embracing total ridiculousness, so that a certain group don't have to feel different when they are. Personally I prescribe to J S Mill's "Harm principle", and as long as it didn't affect others in an bad way I couldn't care less how they choose to live. But recently these people as a combined unit have gone too far, as with many others. http://youtu.be/RaRjIcwqoc0 What sort of a world do we want? A world of ethics where some things are taboo? Or a world of no ethics where there are no lines that cannot be crossed and unethical behaviour and depravity is encouraged? Take note that if there's no ethics and no boundaries, then this world will be divided between those who exploit, and those who are exploited. Anything resembling responsibility & respect & consideration for others is simply just an abhorrent thought. Society should not be providing anything but male and female toilets. If this miserable, pathetic minority cannot use existing toilets, let them find a bush. What have they been doing prior to all this whining; what are they doing now? Wearing nappies until they get home? It is only since they got on the identity politics/victim band wagon that most of us have even heard of these weirdos. To hell with them.

Dear Foxy,
Maybe it's the residual Marxist in me but I often fall back on, "What would Marx think ?" Around thirty years ago, it struck me that the women's movement should keep a 'respectful' distance from the various homosexual movements, since (so it seemed then to me) their interests were so at odds, otherwise they would be folded into each other in a ghastly tangle of contradictions. Despite the odd lapse on his own part, I think Marx would have unreservedly supported the women's movement, but would have been baffled and repelled by the homosexual and related movements. I'm not even sure if Gramsci, the architect of the march through the institutions of bourgeois society, would have gone along with what his descendants are trying to do. Marx was into the overthrow of capitalist society by the working class, and its replacement by socialism. Where people pissed, or who was up who and how, probably wasn't on his radar, but if such people are now at the forefront of the revolution, ...... I dunno, maybe I should migrate. But where to ? Where is there anywhere a pro-feminist society which couldn't give a damn about sexual preferences, which hasn't confused the two separate ranges of issues ? Dear Joe (Loudmouth),
I can't speak on the behalf of "feminists" or tell them what they should or should not do. I can only speak on my own behalf. I personally don't know any transgender people. I've of course read quite a few biographies and found them very moving. We can all find empathy towards the difficulties that some people would encounter - simply by being different from the "norm" in society. I look forward to the day when a person's human worth and achievement will matter more than their colour, race, gender, religion, or any other qualification. And I think that working towards making this a better place for all of us - is not a bad thing to do. Education seems to be the key in getting rid of so many prejudices. I'm sure that you'll agree. Joe,
Most people would have been “baffled and repelled” by the homosexual and related movements those days, including Karl Marx. The revolutionary Marxist had pretty much the same morality as everyone else. Not so now for the cultural Marxists who have what Marx did not: a ready made society already lacking in morals. Those who don’t ‘do it’ still like to watch, as it were. Look how easily today’s equivalents of Karl Marx conned the amoral dupes into voting for SSM, without letting on that they (the dupes) were helping them to wreck the family, which was the real aim. As Karl Marx hated the family as much as his modern counterparts, if he were alive today, after seeing the SSM victory for Marxism, I believe he would go for everything, including gender- bending, pooping and pissing together - and anything in the way of perversion that divided and conquered Western society. Dearest Foxy,
Perhaps one could modify that statement: "I look forward to the day when a person's human worth and achievement will matter more than their colour, race, gender, religion, or any other qualification, and it will be legitimate to not give a toss about anything but their human worth and achievement." How people want to dress, what bits they want to dock, who and what and how they want to root, is what Marx might have called bourgeois distractions, and I think he would be right. [God, I'm still such a Marxist that it fleetingly crossed my mind that he would have approved of Dr Martin Luther King's statement]. There are vastly, vastly more important issues in this sorry world. Ttbn, Perhaps Marx and Engels hated the contemporary need for marriage, based as it was on either/and the need to marry girls off young, and the need for the propertied/capitalist classes to ensure the safety of their investments by uniting their sprogs and reproducing themselves: in "Origin of the Family ..." Engels writes warmly of the recency of what we might now call 'true love', love between men and women as equals. Joe Posted by Loudmouth, Sunday, 1 July 2018 2:07:01 PM

Dear Joe (Loudmouth),
True liberation from the restrictions of gender would mean that all possible options would be open and equally acceptable for both sexes. Then a person's individual human qualities rather than his or her biological sex, would be the primary measure of that person's worth and achievement. As for Karl Marx? Karl Marx's views, like those of anyone else, were deeply influenced by the social environment. Marx wrote in England at a time when a large and impoverished working class laboured for a handful of wealthy capitalists who owned the factories and other means of production. Marx assumed that this situation would inevitably lead to revolution. But Marx did not forsee many of the changes that later occurred in industrial societies, such as the growth of a large middle class. No revolution has ever occurred in an advanced industrial society. Dear Joe (Loudmouth),
I read an interesting comment by Ben Robinson on the web concerning Gays and Marxism. He wrote: "Cultural Marxism is a dog-whistle term used by all right, homophobic misogynist, white supremacist types. They think they should be allowed to live in a society where these kinds of views are the norm, everyone is white, straight, and women know their place. They find the fact that they are "forced" to live in a society that has laws against discrimination and bigotry and live amongst non-white, non straight people as equals to be an oppression of their rights. By calling it cultural Marxism they are implying that they are forced to toe the party line and engage in groupthink. Where the analogy falls down is in Western democratic societies nobody is denying their right to be a racist, homophobic, misogynistic, white supremacist, nobody will come in the dead of night and drag them away to a re-education camp. If they want to start a political party and campaign against equality they are free to do so. Everyone else is free to refuse to do business with them, employ them, and associate with them because they find their views hateful bigotry. After all they freely chose to hold their views. They are not born that way. Posted by Foxy, Sunday, 1 July 2018 4:57:14 PM

Instead of the vote being NO and YES, it should have been NO and DEFINITELY NOT.
We were warned that it was just another petulant demand by a very sick minority. Then along comes the gutless and simple of mind brigade and tries to convince everyone that it has something to do with equality and human rights. Once you step outside of convention you leave yourself open to all kinds of people with all kinds of demands. Another bloody sick mob are the ones who unashamedly declare they are in love with a child and want the right to marry even though one is an adult, certainly not by maturity or mentality. This is festering as we speak. It actually has a name. With any luck it is a medical term created by the mental institutions. We already know about the sick bastards who want to marry their pets. I mean, really? And as if it's not bad enough then you get the other sick bastards who support these sicko's. How many times does it need to be said before the mentally deficient sympathisers, realise that not only are the queers mentally ill but also the sympathisers. They can say 'what harm are they causing anyone'? If you can't see it then your on the wrong side of the freeway and by all means stay there, but don't come back amongst the 'normal' majority and get in our face over something we totally reject. The whole fabricated joke or folly called 'transgenderism' is as preposterous as the people who believe in it or promote it. The whole concept of trannys has been debunked by so many people who know what they are talking about. People like,Jordan peterson, Dr Paul McHugh, to name two. There are many more. The final nail in the coffin is that apparently it is 'NOT supported by scientific evidence'. It is embarrassing and we can only feel pity for these people. They have not yet realised that people are laughing at them behind their backs. It's a shame they're not laughing at them to their face. Posted by ALTRAV, Sunday, 1 July 2018 7:23:19 PM

You are right. It is ridiculous that someone could get into trouble for referring to someone who looks like a male as a male. Without any evidence except the visual, people have nothing else to inform them that this person who looks male actually identifies as female. It’s Impossible to know that, Just by looking. And why should the 90% who are correctly identified as male or female, change every pronoun in the language to appease 10%who identify as the opposite to how they Visually present themselves. We are not mind readers out here we can only identify things visually as we see them. Posted by CHERFUL, Sunday, 1 July 2018 10:46:58 PM

Hi Cherful,
We can't change our DNA on a whim. While there may well be a tiny number of people whose DNA is slightly ambiguous, a man's DNA and a Woman's DNA are different enough to create men and women. Someone may wish that they had a different gender, or no gender at all, or all genders at once, but their DNA is still male or female. Gender is not some sort of supermarket where you can choose whatever you like at any time. Some people may love their dog enough to want to be a dog; or a tree; or the Sydney Harbour Bridge. But they will still have either male or female DNA. End of. Christ, I'm so sick of these utterly trivial issues. An article today points out that Indigenous people in Australia have more than twice the chance of developing illnesses, and have life-spans a decade shorter than those of other Australians. Since the majority of Indigenous people, especially those working in the cities, have similar life-spans to other Australians, it's clear that, amongst the lifelong-welfare-oriented population, especially out in the remote areas, life-spans are vastly shorter than the Australian average - Big Nana would certainly know more than me about this but I would suggest that, in remote 'communities', people have thirty and forty years' shorter lives than you and me. Yes, that they die in their thirties and forties far, far more often than other Australians. So instead we should fart around, worrying about gender problems ? That's a self-indulgent obscenity. Tell them to get a life. Oh, I forgot, they already have one. Cheers, Joe Posted by Loudmouth, Monday, 2 July 2018 8:51:33 AM

in remote 'communities', people have thirty and forty years' shorter lives than you and me
Loudmouth, What part would DNA play in this you think ? I knew people in these communities who worked in their younger years & lived to really ripe old ages into their 90's & one who was actually a very good friend, managed 102. Then there is the other end of the scale where people didn't work in their younger years but led rather alcohol & fast food dependent lives & they called it quits in their 40's. I think their DNA was different to the old ones. So, DNA must not only influence the body's make-up but also the mind. I know people who were born when I was in my 20's & now they're older than I am or so one would think. Another DNA thing I imagine. Then several of my non-indigenous friends died very young despite having worked & others who were just useless bureaucrats are fleecing the system after 40 years & going strong physically. There really should be studies done on that subject by real scientists with a particular focus on the greed/stupidity DNA. Posted by individual, Monday, 2 July 2018 10:49:02 AM

Dear Joe (Loudmouth),
Lieutenant Colonel Cate McGregor was born a boy but always felt like a girl. She tried to hide it first by getting drunk, and later by flexing what she saw as the masculine side of her personality as a soldier in our armed forces but she says it got to the point in her mid 50s where she couldn't stand it anymore. She stated - "It must be wonderful to go through life, always being sure and never being fearful, but it's not really human is it?" Today, she does not say that she is a woman - only that she lives as one. (And looks like one). If you're really sincere in saying that issues like trans-gender should not be a concern. Which to me indicates that you're suggesting we should be more accepting. But then you turn around and add statements like - instead of "farting around" with the questions of trans-gender and their problems. and you use phrases like - "Get a life" and " You've already got one?" (No - they're trying to get one - because they're not happy with the one they have). That sound so dismissive. Of course we have all sorts of problems in our communities that need attention. Transgenderism is one of them. Perhaps instead of saying - "Get a life, and wait - you've already got one," We should accept people for who they are. Posted by Foxy, Monday, 2 July 2018 1:08:16 PM

Individual,
You've set it out yourself - how people live their short lives. It's got little to do with DNA, or their genomes, except that foraging people may have a genetic ability to process fats and sugars from a very fat-free and sugar-free diet, and then are suddenly able to access a fat- and sugar-heavy diet AND not have to move around anywhere as much as before. Perhaps also, there maybe a genetic ability to control hunger when there isn't any food, and to really pack it in when there is. That might predispose people to gorge whatever is available when it's available, like grog and tobacco, as well. Dear Foxy, Of course we should accept people with all their foibles, but those are their private concerns. Let them do whatever they like as long as it doesn't break any laws, but neither should the rest of us give it much attention. Love, Joe Posted by Loudmouth, Monday, 2 July 2018 1:46:43 PM

Dear Joe (Loudmouth),
Being transgender is different from being a cross-dresser, who is someone who enjoys wearing interchangeable clothes associated with one gender, or another. In simple terms transgender people are basically born one way, but psychologically are another. Many transgender Australians want the two to align and then just get on with life as their free-est and fullest selves. However it would not hurt to educate people regarding transgender - thereby improving certain attitudes. That would not cause any harm. It may even help us to understand each other. Your quite right, there are far more, not only important, but relevant things to worry about. The whole idea of TG has been debunked again and again. They refuse to listen to anyone else's opinion insisting they are right and the only ones who have the answers. At the risk of further involvement in an extremely minor issue, all I really ever wanted to do was point out how insignificant these sorts of issues are in the scheme of things - of course, not to the people involved, but the same might go for train-spotters or stamp-collectors, who would regard their hobbies as extremely significant too. And although I have some sympathy for such hobbyists, being a Sudoku addict, I don't spend sleepless nights worrying about whether the 8.40 from Parkes is on-time, or how many 1876 Grenada upside-down Queen Victorias there might be. Gosh, I didn't know that pools were segregated. I should get out more. As for integrating toilets, let's have a plebiscite on the issue and see what the people think :) Cheers, Joe Posted by Loudmouth, Tuesday, 3 July 2018 8:56:18 AM

Gawd, this is worse than the AGW argument.
As several have said the DNA you have is it. Accept it or get psychological treatment. If you think you are a girl maybe you have a low testosterone level. If so there is treatment available so then get it. All the legal carryon is a wash off of the lefty gay marriage campaign which is all designed to disrupt society. The left is trying to insist on strange pronoun words. In Canada it is illegal not to use them. You can be prosecuted for not using them ! Can you believe that ? I am not surprised if you do not believe it, but I read it on a Canadian web site. No wonder Islam is taking over, it is at least only partly mad. Posted by Bazz, Thursday, 5 July 2018 2:41:20 PM

Could we not have one on segregating toilets further? Because I for one am sick of the eternal seat up/down debate. I vote for segregated toilets in private accommodations as well as in public: two toilets in every house, no matter how small, clearly designated Men's and Lady's to prevent any of that unfortunate gender confusion. No wonder kids are confused about their gender when they're raised with unisex bathrooms at home from a young age. And of course men shouldn't be sharing toilet facilities with women. Guys, I don't know if you've heard about this, but women have these things called periods. It's a bit icky. I'll let the video explain: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEvS9RXN43Q Did you hear that? Friggin' alligators, dude. I guess it'd be crocs in Australia. I don't want no crocs crawling out of my toilet when I'm trying to pass a difficult stool. No way, man. Segregated toilets all the way. I mean sure, I did go to Europe over 15 years ago and most of the toilets on the continent were already unisex, before Caitlin Jenner invented transgender people, but that was just to save on space and not because of no funny queer business. And of course, there are no crocodilian species outside zoos in the EU, so they were safe in that regard. Posted by Toni Lavis, Thursday, 5 July 2018 11:29:59 PM
