I would say that any South African farmer, business man or any other, who has not been ferreting away every penny they could raise for the last 15 years to use to get out of the country at some time like now is pretty dumb.

Dan I expect that just like Rhodesia did, South Africa is going to become a place where you would want your wife or kids to walk down the streets.

We can see in Melbourne, Penrith, much of the Caribbean, & South America, that once the hand of very heavy law enforcement is removed, many of African decent become very violent criminals.

Sure, like Rhodesia/Zimbabwe they have a critical need of the experienced white farmers, & the country & the population would be better off if they stay, but that is not what the politicians will care about.

I bought a car 5 years ago from a farmer returning part time to Zimbabwe, to his old farm. His wife was not going, & doubted she would ever go back. The 25 year old son had no intension of even considering it. He considered himself an Ozzie, & had no interest in anywhere in Africa.

You know what, peace can't be legislated. But the seeds of discontent can easily be!

People generally, should take a more comparative look at the fledgling African democracies, and learn the pitfalls of running a democracy based on racism and greed.

Power to the people can be good and bad! Example gay marriage. If you need a better example of the power achieved by manipulating democracy, go no further than that example of mad!

So translating that example to SA, which went mad over gay rights in 2006, democracy at that point, became a meaningless word. It has since become a national sport of SA youth, to gang bang lesbians. So much for that abysmal failure!

In terms of any democratic necessity, of all he urgencies of the need for careful guidance of the ship of democracy, to pick up the country and its people, and steer it through the treacherous reef of post apartheid; enter homosexuals with their insignificant agenda.
Does that ring a bell to Australians? No!

You may not wish to believe the truth behind the similarities of SA failure, through greed and corruption, and its inevitable downward trajectory, but when I see the Gupta Brits arrive here to a welcome from our politicians, I shudder!

It might interest you, but that greedy little band of racist criminals, were actually investigated by authorities in SA, for calling their black workers “monkeys”, and relegating them a status behind whites in employment.
Could it be one reason for their popularity with politicians in Au.?

South African farmers are the low hanging fruit of refugees, they are usually skilled, proficient in English and share common values. That they will contribute to Australian society and not try to rob or kill us seems to offend the Greens.
