We can 'rely on' the Australian Left to ignore the racism, torture and murder of white South Africans. The media is describing it as 'reverse racism'. Well, there is no such thing as reverse racism, suggestion that it is whites only who are racist. Black racism against whites is just plain racism. It is not a tit for tat businesses to get back at whites; it is non-white racism, which has always been there.

Last year there were 400 attacks on white farmers, 10 times the number of a decade ago, and a bill has been passed to take land from white farmers without compensation.

The leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters party has called for white farmers to be shot or have their throats cut. Being convicted for hate speech 7 years ago doesn't appear to have had any effect on him. So far, he and his friends have contented themselves with torturing white farmers with irons and blow torches.

But no, we are not likely to hear much from the Left about this, unless they feel like gloating over the plight of SA farmers as pay back for apartheid.

Look. The Nelson Mandela propaganda honeymoon is over.

1. Black South Africans have every right to destroy their country. Its now a proud tradition in Africa isn't it?

2. Money for the poor going to dictators' Swiss bank accounts?

Meanwhile "Peter Dutton's white South African farmers resettlement gaining momentum" as usually leftwing ABC reports (today) http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-03-16/persecuted-white-south-african-farmers-resettlement-gaining-mom/9556098 :

Headline: "Peter Dutton's white South African farmers resettlement gaining momentum"

"A conservative push to resettle "persecuted" white South African farmers in Australia is gaining momentum with several MPs calling for a special humanitarian intake.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has caused a diplomatic row with South Africa after declaring white farmers in the country were facing "horrific circumstances" and needed protection from a "civilised country".

While the issue has hit the national headlines this week, West Australian Liberals have been agitating behind the scenes for months and last year passed a motion at the party's state council calling on the Federal Government to "resettle persecuted European minorities" in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

WA Liberal Ian Goodenough, whose electorate is home to one of the largest South African expat communities, said Australia accepted thousands of extra refugees from Syria in a one-off special intake and should do the same for white farmers "fleeing persecution".

"Violence and suffering affects all people universally," he told the ABC.

Ian Goodenough's TWEET:
"@IanGoodenoughMP
Moore is home to one of the largest South African Communities in WA. I support favourable consideration being given to granting refugee status to South Africans fleeing persecution who share our values and will integrate into Australian society. 8:21 PM - Mar 15, 2018"

"Given our close connections to the South African community, consideration should be given to providing a quota of places."

FROM ABOVE
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-03-16/persecuted-white-south-african-farmers-resettlement-gaining-mom/9556098

Mr Goodenough — who has been lobbying his senior colleagues over the issue — argues white South African farmers would bring relevant skills to Australia and integrate well into the community. "It certainly wouldn't hurt to allocate a number of places to people who fit in well and will contribute to the country," he said.

His West Australian colleague, Andrew Hastie, took to social media to declare he is "outraged" by the reports of violence against white farmers and posted an image of a flyer describing the group as the "persecuted minority nobody cares about".

"They are being targeted in … what appears to be an orchestrated terror campaign," it said.

But the push is not limited to WA.

Several Liberals have posted the same flyer as well as graphic images of white farmers who have apparently been beaten.

Farm violence in South Africa is a racially charged and sensitive political issue, particularly given the Government's push to seize land from farmers without compensation.

Queensland Liberal MP Andrew Laming has been vocal on the topic, describing white farmers as "refugees", and claimed credit for this week's developments.

"Since I called out South African politicians for their do-nothing approach to vicious attacks on farmers, Peter Dutton has asked his [department] to monitor and consider our offshore humanitarian program," he posted.

The plight of South African farmers is also on Liberal Democrat Senator David Leyonhjelm's radar.

He has written to the Government urging it to respond to the "tragedy of farmers being forced off their land … and the alarming rate of murder".

"We should investigate options for allowing South African farmers to enter Australia under the refugee program if they require sanctuary," he posted on Facebook.

I'd like to see the same innovation applied to Chinese land owners in Australia.

We need to have Australia returned to Australians.

I think that the greens have shown their hypocrisy and overt racism by wanting to refuse entry to South African farmers just because they are white.

dd,

Regarding the Chinese: the "two main parties have been severely compromised by their links to Chinese benefactors and their infiltration by people whose loyalties lie with Beijing." (Clive Hamilton, 'Silent Invasion'). While the black Africans want to take land off white Africans, here in Australia, our own politicians are allowing foreign powers and the Chinese Communist Party to take over farming land, real estate, ports and energy supplies. And stupid voters sit back and allow them to do it.

While we are occupying ourselves with dual citizen politicians who illegally got themselves elected, and who 'could' be loyal to a foreign power, we are sitting back and allowing our governments to be best buddies with people who are definitely loyal to the People's Republic of China and, therefore, the Chinese Communist Party. China uses trade as a political weapon. They already own (a 99 year lease is as good as ownership) the ports of Darwin and Newcastle (that we know of), the entire electricity production of South Australia and parts of it in other states; they own huge areas of agricultural land, as well as real estate. They use these acquisitions for power over out politicians now, and for who knows what aggressive actions in the future if our politicians - their lackeys – displease them.

We have to much too worry about in Australia without going looking for problems overseas.

True, but why don't we take the opportunity to learn a bit from it?

The other factor of South Africa is Homeside rates ( currently at 33/100k), and actually declining, (long story).

xenophobic violence in South Africa is common and increasing, driven by a lack of trust and confidence in government at all levels. Sound familiar?

This country, for the future of peace, would well learn from events in SA, but don't hold your breath, while awaiting acknowledgement of the similarities in declining trust.

People with nothing, have little to lose, as we know.

Rules are increasingly ignored, such as private ownership and obligations to pay rents for housing for example.

(A couple of my relo’s have gone back to Johannesburg, to claim ten years of unpaid rent on their property. This will be interesting)!

dd,

Many of us learn things, but we are not the shortsighted, self-serving time servers in Canberra. They will never learn.

As a former resident of Zimbabwe I know only too well what these threats mean. They will become reality - soon. That Australia is prepared to offer sanctuary and anew life to these farmers who can add significant value to the Australian economy and way of life is to be applauded!

Appropriation is a failure, as you point out; but there is a thing called "revenge".

When you mix revenge with the imperative of democracy to be reelected, things turn stupid!

We have plenty of examples of that innovational mix in Australia.
One very recent and continueing example is moslim bashing, by radical idiots such as Pauline Hanson and her contingent, who fail to see the woods for the trees.

Even though the SA constitution has changed to allow appropriation to occurs without compensation, I think even the ANC wil not be dumb enough to do it!

Whites are now happily returning to Zimbabwe, and things are looking up for all!

Do you really think SA will kick that trend? Because I don't!

Australia is in need of farmers. The number reaching retirement age is
a high percentage.
We need a policy to resume from Chinese ownership, properly
compensated, land recently sold.
This land could be offered to any applicant, Sth African or Australian
on a mortgage.
Sth African farmers being experienced farmers should get priority over
any other unexperienced applicants.
We have the possibility to feed much of the world and make a quid doing it.
Somehow I don't think it will happen as our politicians are too stupid.
I mean anyone who would blow up power stations and reduce generation to less than demand !
Duh !

If the SA farmers have their land taken without compensation, how would they pay land in Australia?

Whites own 75% of farm land. Whites are 9% of the population. Not all whites own land, so it's safe to say, a very very small minority of whites own a vast majority of farm land.
Welcome aboard resentment!

The most resentful are the poor and unemployed, which is about half the population.
The ANC needs their vote to stay in power.

It's easy to pick off a handful of well-off whites for sacrifice. Especially since the stings and barbs of apartheid are still fresh, and its demise has not resulted in the riches which were promised.
A good lesson on the real value of equality! Virtually useless, and it can't be eaten for food!

But on we go. The SA government has been acquiring land by legitimate means for years, and has accumulated about 5% of farms for redistribution to the blacks. But surprise, these opportunities have not been taken up by them, since they generally are not educated in the processes of running a farming enterprise profitably and otherwise successfully.
They just don't have it!

So the question is; who is going to take over 75% of SA farms, now owned by the whites?
It's not going to happen!

This paranoia about white farmers under attack is just that. Our Government is aware of this, and can make all the promises in the world to SA farmers, making huge stocks of brownie points to boot on its home turf. This promise won't cost the tax payer one red cent, because it won't eventuate. And shouldn't eventuate, for other reasons too complicated to post here.

I would say that any South African farmer, business man or any other, who has not been ferreting away every penny they could raise for the last 15 years to use to get out of the country at some time like now is pretty dumb.

Dan I expect that just like Rhodesia did, South Africa is going to become a place where you would want your wife or kids to walk down the streets.

We can see in Melbourne, Penrith, much of the Caribbean, & South America, that once the hand of very heavy law enforcement is removed, many of African decent become very violent criminals.

Sure, like Rhodesia/Zimbabwe they have a critical need of the experienced white farmers, & the country & the population would be better off if they stay, but that is not what the politicians will care about.

I bought a car 5 years ago from a farmer returning part time to Zimbabwe, to his old farm. His wife was not going, & doubted she would ever go back. The 25 year old son had no intension of even considering it. He considered himself an Ozzie, & had no interest in anywhere in Africa.

You know what, peace can't be legislated. But the seeds of discontent can easily be!

People generally, should take a more comparative look at the fledgling African democracies, and learn the pitfalls of running a democracy based on racism and greed.

Power to the people can be good and bad! Example gay marriage. If you need a better example of the power achieved by manipulating democracy, go no further than that example of mad!

So translating that example to SA, which went mad over gay rights in 2006, democracy at that point, became a meaningless word. It has since become a national sport of SA youth, to gang bang lesbians. So much for that abysmal failure!

In terms of any democratic necessity, of all he urgencies of the need for careful guidance of the ship of democracy, to pick up the country and its people, and steer it through the treacherous reef of post apartheid; enter homosexuals with their insignificant agenda.
Does that ring a bell to Australians? No!

You may not wish to believe the truth behind the similarities of SA failure, through greed and corruption, and its inevitable downward trajectory, but when I see the Gupta Brits arrive here to a welcome from our politicians, I shudder!

It might interest you, but that greedy little band of racist criminals, were actually investigated by authorities in SA, for calling their black workers “monkeys”, and relegating them a status behind whites in employment.
Could it be one reason for their popularity with politicians in Au.?

South African farmers are the low hanging fruit of refugees, they are usually skilled, proficient in English and share common values. That they will contribute to Australian society and not try to rob or kill us seems to offend the Greens.
