Parliament under the new President Ramaphosa has already voted 241 to 83 to change the Constitution and a sense of real panic has been growing.

I think that the greens have shown their hypocrisy and overt racism by wanting to refuse entry to South African farmers just because they are white.

dd,

Regarding the Chinese: the "two main parties have been severely compromised by their links to Chinese benefactors and their infiltration by people whose loyalties lie with Beijing." (Clive Hamilton, 'Silent Invasion'). While the black Africans want to take land off white Africans, here in Australia, our own politicians are allowing foreign powers and the Chinese Communist Party to take over farming land, real estate, ports and energy supplies. And stupid voters sit back and allow them to do it.

While we are occupying ourselves with dual citizen politicians who illegally got themselves elected, and who 'could' be loyal to a foreign power, we are sitting back and allowing our governments to be best buddies with people who are definitely loyal to the People's Republic of China and, therefore, the Chinese Communist Party. China uses trade as a political weapon. They already own (a 99 year lease is as good as ownership) the ports of Darwin and Newcastle (that we know of), the entire electricity production of South Australia and parts of it in other states; they own huge areas of agricultural land, as well as real estate. They use these acquisitions for power over out politicians now, and for who knows what aggressive actions in the future if our politicians - their lackeys – displease them.

We have to much too worry about in Australia without going looking for problems overseas.

True, but why don't we take the opportunity to learn a bit from it?

The other factor of South Africa is Homeside rates ( currently at 33/100k), and actually declining, (long story).

xenophobic violence in South Africa is common and increasing, driven by a lack of trust and confidence in government at all levels. Sound familiar?

This country, for the future of peace, would well learn from events in SA, but don't hold your breath, while awaiting acknowledgement of the similarities in declining trust.

People with nothing, have little to lose, as we know.

Rules are increasingly ignored, such as private ownership and obligations to pay rents for housing for example.

(A couple of my relo’s have gone back to Johannesburg, to claim ten years of unpaid rent on their property. This will be interesting)!

Xenophobic violence in South Africa:

A black face is not a requirement to mouth these words.

dd,

Many of us learn things, but we are not the shortsighted, self-serving time servers in Canberra. They will never learn.
