By Mark Christensen, published 10/1/2018

There is no appeasing the Culture War factions because, at the end of the day, the progressive left and conservative right are marching down the same track.

Yep, so true. I spose the great challenge of this age is to navigate a path whereby the worlds 200 million english speaking christians have a liveable space to promulgate their admiration and dedication to Jesus of Nazareth, thereby providing a redoubt to the other 2 billion christians in the world who are facing levels of persecution not experienced since the time of the apostles.

It most certainly is not for all Australians (Turnbull gets battier every day); it is not even for most homosexual Australians (about 43,000?), few of whom will feel the need to 'marry' even though it is now legal. There will be a short term media frenzy as a few peculiar people tie the knot, then it will fizzle out. Like Mark Christensen, we NO voters will not suddenly change our minds on the absurdity of fake marriage between people of the same sex and start singing 'How Sweet It Is'. Enacting perversion into law doesn't make the perversion right of popular.

Great idea but can't happen. Malcolm doesn't care about our society or our economy or our environment or anything other than Malcolm staying in the top job. Similar for Bill. So they both go along with climate crazies and happily stuff our economy whilst people are dying in megafires and forests are dying and turning to scrub because frequent mild burning, i.e. sustainable land management, is illegal. The convergence of left and right is driven by dominance of media and academia by watermelons, and disproportionate influence of inner city electorates on political contests. What a bitter irony that Abbott got kicked out because the Green Bee Cee, especially Leigh Sales, pandered to Malcolm's vanity, used him and dumped him. How dumb are the lefty greeny 'liberals' and what choice have we got anymore? Joh-Bjelke's 'gerrymander'was fairdinkum democracy, and Queensland was great.

This author highlights the need for truck-loads more Muslims in this country, in order to balance up the act a bit.
I propose a bridge linking Australia to Indonesia, and a joint citizenship arrangement between the two.
Not only do Indonesians make a mockery of Australia, and our love affair with homosexuality, by example. They also riot against excessive Chinese dominance and meddling. Something unthinkable for this weak feminised disgrace of a once sensible country!

On a back highway between Gloucester and Armidale, at the top of the first escarpment, in the back of nowhere-land, is a small unofficial roadside park, built without permission, in the good old Australian tradition, with a long bench hastily formed from a fallen tree.

Humorist road-workers named this park to suit its location: “Wherethefuckarewe”, and hung a sign of designation, high in a roadside tree to mark the spot!

In my mind, this location epitomises the lost state of this once beautiful country, and its abandoned traditions. If you listen carefully while straddling the uncomfortable bench, the cries of pain from those Australians gone before us are almost audible, and mix in a cacophony of the natural sounds of nature, with the deep vibrations from our Australian ancestors, as they roll over in their graves

These related essays provide a unique perspective on the issues featured in this essay. They point to and describe the only real solution to the now everywhere culture of complaint and frustration being dramatized all over the world by the masses of fragmented deeply frustrated human beings.
