' I'm against the government promoting a gay normalcy agenda including anal and oral sex to underage Grade 3 and 4 students against the wishes of or without full disclosure of the program and subject matter to parents; and the right to opt out.'
you nailed it Armchair critic. It is also why the deplorables will increase and the ' elite' naive or perverted will be called out. Posted by runner, Saturday, 17 December 2016 11:22:01 AM

Dear diver dan,
Nobody is forcing any parent to do what they don't want to do. That's a weak argument. Parents have a choice as to which school their children attend. If you're against the "Safe-School program," make sure that your child does not attend a school that has the program. The Safe School programs are voluntary, not compulsory. And it's up to Principals who want the programs to ask for them if they feel that their schools will benefit from them. Posted by Foxy, Saturday, 17 December 2016 5:09:53 PM

Obviously foxy, you didn't read this article. I'd suggest you read it, then come back to me with that statement!

Dear Diver Dan,
I did read the article. However, I felt that if a parent was so concerned all they had to do is ask the Principal of the school of their choice for their child whether they had the Safe Schools program at their school, and then make the appropriate choice for their child. Foxy,
This article is about a member of the NSW Legislative Council making inquiries to the Minister for Education on behalf of concerned citizens about which schools have the safe schools program. He was not given straight answers by the Minister of Education and even 'Freedom Of Information' requests were delayed until after schools go back. Therefore parents can't find out if the school they've enrolled or plan to enroll their children in has the safe school program or not, until after they are already back at school. Looking into whether or not parents have the right to opt out, I can't seem to get a clear answer from news reports, some say parents can opt out, other say they have to move schools. - Someone's spreading fake news and its not the independent media. (News Corp own both these publications). http://www.theaustralian.com.au/national-affairs/safe-schools-should-have-opt-in-choice-recommends-committee/news-story/1931ba95d07afd897290c1a2a11a7032 http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/rendezview/want-to-optout-of-safe-schools-then-prepare-to-move-schools/news-story/65bdb6af1e31d7e3d03442af4ed1141f They're turning EVERYTHING into a gay lesson as well. Turning normal subjects into lessons about sexuality. Melanie Gaylard, who works for the Safe Schools Coalition in Victoria, has suggested ways in which even mathematics might take on a rainbow flavour. “A maths problem that poses David and his boyfriend Tuan ordering three pizzas that need to be evenly sliced to feed them and their six friends for example, demonstrates the way some less heteronormative thinking can result in some inclusive examples,” she says. “Even if a problem like this raises questions from the class about sexuality, students can be told that some boys have boyfriends and that’s okay and then redirected to answer the question in a casual way that normalises the inclusive content.” This whole thing is about gays jumping up and down screaming "I'm normal", and since you can't stop kids bullying its about brainwashing them instead. I think that when a child is underaged it's the parents job to decide what is best.
Once they are of legal age, then the government can teach them all the perverted stuff you guys seem to want the young kids to embrace all it wants.
Some of you claim to being liberal and tolerant, but this is the opposite of the truth.
What you really want is some dreamed utopia where government imposes your ideals on everyone else.
You think that people are products of their environments and people should be socially engineered to live the way you think they should.
But the second you think that you've already relegated liberty and tolerance to the dustbin.
I didn't think I really had to repeat myself, but I'll do so anyway.
Parents, not governments should decide what is and isn't appropriate for their own children.
- Especially when kids are underage and sex including a program to normalise gay sex is the topic of discussion.
