By Greg Donnelly, published 16/12/2016

Up until early July this year mums and dads could go to the Safe Schools Coalition Australia website and see if the school they sent their children to was a participant in the program.

Disgusting. and under a liberal government.
Menzies would turn in his grave.
Chip chipping away.

Quite frankly, Baird has proven himself to be an incompetent nutter!

Parents know best eh? Especially those knuckle dragging neanderthals, who believe you can beat homosexuality out of a boy, or those wee few, who believe lesbianisnism, can be raped out of existance?

Or those who would marry off their daughters aged just nine or ten, or oblige them to live all the adult years under head to feet clothing? Or that wives need to be beaten into submission?

Is that what you mean by, the parent always knows best, Armchair?

Call me all the stupid, patently untrue made up names you like, all that'll confirm, is an IQ roughly equal to the item of furniture that features prominently, in the first part of your non de plume?

Go your hardest! Hurl all the abusive rubbish you can invent! And be sure to keep your head buried somewhere warm, comfortable and dark! And where no doubt, you get all your very best ideas?

Stay down, so you won't ever need to actually examine the mounting evidence that proves you and you ilk wrong! And as you go the verbal, entirely unreasonable misrepresentation; and or, simply run true to form and resort to childish abuse! Or the par for the course, sandpit dummy spit?

All that'll do is swing more of the undecided, with persecuted gay relatives or friend, into my camp!

Bring on the next election! Where this matter and marriage equality will be finally and for all time, settled! No ifs, buts or maybes!

At the end of this life we will all have to face our maker and justify our behavior and actions, all of them!

I'm ready, how about you?

And if you've been wrong all these years? Where do you expect to spend eternity?

Somewhere a trifle warmer than you'd like? I'll warrant?

Shovel that coal boy, cause we're gonna have a hot old time tonight, tomorrow and all your tomorrows after that!?

Dear Alan B.,

I agree with you regarding bringing on the
next election and letting the people of Australia
decide regarding the many issues that are of
concern to the Gay and Lesbian Communities.

As far as Safe-Schools are concerned?
As far as I know this is a voluntary program
that is available to any school principal who
thinks their school will benefit from such a
program. As for Indoctrination? The evidence
does not support that claim. However if teaching
tolerance of diversity is considered indoctrination by some
- then
we should all be concerned about the kind of society we
will end up with in this country.

Foxy and AlanB say intolerance is a problem, whereas to others, the classification of tolerance given by others, is actually a bigger problem by comparison.

You pair would exemplify the intolerance of the "tolerant" class!

Parents have every right in the world to forge their own biases in their own children.
It is not the responsibility of your local school staff to impose their particular biases over the top of a parent. That is the current situation which now masquerades as school curriculum , and is out of order entirely.

One could extend the new age "forcing" of somebody else's standards onto family's views of the world in which they live, to encompass any other ideological subject matter.

In the end, it is an invasion of privacy of the first degree. Forcing young children to hold views counter to the views of their own family, simply creates family division, and should stop Immediately, in this instance in particular!
