Can anyone name the enemy correctly? : Comments

By Bashir Goth, published 27/7/2016

This is why every extremist group who fights for a deviant goal adds the word Islam to their name to seek legitimacy and to use it as a trap to drag the whole world into their agenda of denigrating Islam and Muslims by default.

JBowyer, I've certainly seen some speaking out. I've also seen Muslims visible in their support for the victims after atrocities. I've seen photos (but don't have enough info to check) showing Muslims protecting non-Muslims from mobs of thugs. It's not all doom and gloom but neither is it all light.

Plenty of Muslims are good people, I'm concerned though amongst other things that the leaders generally seem far more concerned with spin than addressing the real issues that do exist.

This article being an example of the type of spin that many are getting heartily sick of.

There may be "good" Muslims in the world, but what proportion of them are "good" or "bad" (by western standards) is something that neither you nor I can answer. Most Germans are good people, that did not stop them supporting Hitler and his Nationalistic form of Socialism. Most Russians are good people, but they would all fight to protect the very Internationalist Socialist system that oppressed them. Same with Japanese, same with North Koreans, same with everybody.

The "good" people, as defined by western standards, never matter.

Islam is the most aggressive ideology left in the world today, and it is one which quite openly insists upon world domination. It's sacred texts authorise the use of extreme violence and terror to achieve that aim. In Islam, a "good" Muslim is one who supports that aim. A "very good" Muslim is one who sacrifices his life to attain Muslim world domination. Even "good" (by western standards) Muslims believe in Sharia Law because it is written in the Koran and they believe that the Koran is the literal word of God. That is why they will never criticise it

"Good Muslims" as defined by western standards, are conspicuously absent whenever the "bad" (by western standards) Muslims are up to no good. Where were the "good Muslims" when Amina Lawal in Nigeria was being stoned to death? Where were they when that blind girl in Pakistan was jailed for being raped? "Good" (by western standards) Muslims may exist, but just like good Germans, good Japanese and good North Koreans, they know that they had better keep their heads down or their own leaders will kill them.

We keep hearing this tale about moderate Muslims, but let us look at their leaders. The "moderate" elected head of the Australian Islamic Council demanded that Muslims be exempt from voting as democracy is "un-Islamic." Former "moderate" Imam Sheik Hilaly praised suicide bombers, made insulting references to white Australians, and blamed "cat meat" Australian girls for being raped by Muslims. The present one blamed everybody and everything but Islam for terrorism.

The "bad guys" have been using religion as shields for political agendas since humanity conceived religion. Nothing new here.

We will always have groups or individuals interpreting religious texts however they see fit, doesn't matter what religion we are talking about either. Have a look back through history and you will see this pattern. It's just that with today's world and the internet + modern electronic transmission media's like TV, radio, news of it comes into our lives quicker than ever before. Hence, why we have more discussions and commentary about this phenomenon.

Hey Rojama, what part of "Fight the unbelievers who are near to you. Lay ambushes for them, strike terror into their hearts", do you not understand?

If somebody says outright they want to kill and terrorise you, I think you should at least have the courtesy of believing them.

Is this bloke saying, because Isis bought dishonour to his cat
that somehow this should be a lesson to Australians to
be careful what they say about radical Islam?

Unbelievable.
