Can anyone name the enemy correctly? : Comments
By Bashir Goth, published 27/7/2016This is why every extremist group who fights for a deviant goal adds the word Islam to their name to seek legitimacy and to use it as a trap to drag the whole world into their agenda of denigrating Islam and Muslims by default.

Bashir Goth has written a particularly poor, waffle piece that is intended to mislead the gullible into thinking that there is nothing wrong with Islam.
Look Bashir, the problem is Islam itself, and you know it. You and I both know that outside of kooky cults like the Japanese Aum, the Thuggees, and the Ananda Marg, Islam is the only religion which instructs it's believers to spread Islam through violence and terrorism. You know that Islam instructs it's followers to murder, mutilate, behead, and humiliate non believers, but as we say in the west "don't mention the war." You know that those brave Jihadis who go on Jihad to spread Islam are the highest grade of Muslim, so you can not criticise them, can you? So the trick is to just say that all terrorism is horrible, without mentioning that the Koran is a book full religious quotes authorising Muslims to terrorise the kaffirs into submission. You know that there are what Lenin once said were "useful fools" in the west, who will go into bat for Islam and Muslims, because they think that always opposing their own people's welfare is what "intelligent" people do. So you have written a little puff piece that will appeal to these stupid kaffirs who think that Islam is a religion of piece. They are people who desperately want to believe that all religions, cultures and people are equal, and that entire groups of people with diametrically opposed values can somehow live together without conflict. They are people who think that people who believe in secular democracy can live with people who think that secularism and democracy are evil. That fundamentalist tolerant people can live with fundamentalist intolerants. That those who believe in religious freedom can live with those who consider repressing every other religion to be a religious duty. That those who believe in civil law with impartial judges can co exist within those who demand religious law run by religious leaders. And that those who believe in female equality can live with those who think that women are the property of men. Posted by LEGO, Wednesday, 27 July 2016 6:35:16 PM

There is a lot more to concerns about Islam than just the terrorist groups.
There are the extreme and repressive laws that seem to be the norm in predominately Muslim countries. There are the crowds of Muslims that are outraged enough to take to the streets in protest when someone publishes cartoons about the prophet or similar which don't seem to appear to express their outrage when the prophet and the faith is insulted by the most barbaric of acts done in the name of Islam. There is the seemingly continual manoeuvring for special treatment by Muslims in the west who don't give any indication of support for similar freedoms for non-muslims in predominately Muslim countries, There is the reality that groups such as ISIS or whatever name you give to them have a basis for much of what they do in various documents generally respected by Muslims such as the Koran. I'll accept that most Muslims seem to ignore the worst bits of those documents in the same way that most Christians are able to ignore some horrific Old Testament teachings but the divide between Olt Testament and New Testament for most Christians seems a lot clearer than the divide for Islamic teaching. There is the continued spin by the majority of Muslim spokespeople when confronted with real issues rather than any attempt to genuinely engage with the issues and concerns that are being expressed. I did some research, and Kafir seems to be the greatest enemy of Muslims. It is not ISIS after all, but Kafir. And Kafir is mentioned nearly 300 times in the Quran, and about 60% of the Quran is not about a God, but about Kafir, and how they should be killed, tortured, lied to, raped, used as slaves etc. For example Quran 8.12 "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip." Quran 33:60 They [kafirs] will be cursed, and wherever they are found, they will be seized and mur-dered Quran 9:29 The Christians and Jews do not follow the religion of truth until they submit and pay the poll tax [jizya], and they are humiliated. The last one is interesting, because if Kafir pay a tax, they are no longer Kafir. All it takes is money. Posted by interactive, Wednesday, 27 July 2016 8:04:01 PM

Gee poor old Mr Goth. He thought the would get some sympathy and he has been well and truly whacked.
Sorry Mr Goth but no sympathy, sort your fellow muslims out. No islamaphobia rubbish anymore. I am assured that the imams are always objecting to isis and radical islam but I have NEVER heard any remonstrating or complaint from any muslims? They say they have objected time after time but I have never seen it? Either they are full of it or the meeja are being unkind lol. Posted by JBowyer, Wednesday, 27 July 2016 9:18:47 PM

You have the second coolest last name I have ever heard, after Batman. I know you didn't choose it, but it's neat all the same.
//It is the word 'Kafir' that I would like explaining.//
It refers to a variety of citrus fruit, and the leaves of the same tree, used predominantly in Asian cookery. I have never used the fruit myself, but the leaves add a pleasant flavour citrus note to many south-east Asian dishes, not dissimilar to lemongrass.
//Sorry about this chap's cat, but ISIS are the people to complain to, not us.//
I prefer to call them vagISIL. That way nobody can get them mixed up with pleasant things like pussies.
