Can anyone name the enemy correctly? : Comments

By Bashir Goth, published 27/7/2016

This is why every extremist group who fights for a deviant goal adds the word Islam to their name to seek legitimacy and to use it as a trap to drag the whole world into their agenda of denigrating Islam and Muslims by default.

Dear Bashir Goth,

What name would you give to the enemy?

Leaving the enemy nameless allows one to see it everywhere.

Yes I can! And as simple as asking them or anyone, a few loaded questions on intent, and in the presence of completely covertly deployed space age lie detection technology.

Something which could be installed in banks and any place one would need to go to to get a licence, or collect a medicare or social service payment or benefit!?

Even the most convincing and assured pathological liar, trained to beat the polygraph, with clean shaven, smiling, well met affability, is no match for computer assisted facial unbeatable recognition technology, that notices the tiny telltale, giveaway, facial movements, tiny twitches and expressions too quick for the human eye!

Nor can he or she prevent the brain from lighting up for also completley covertly deployed thermal imaging technology, when attempts to deceive are even innocently attempted! (white lies)

Imagine that you are an inbound passenger at an airport terminal and you are asked standard questions like, have you anything to declare, the purpose of you visit, how long do you intend to stay and have you sufficient funds?

If all can be answered honestly without a electronic red flag dropping? You could be waved on through, much to the pleasure and contentment of the genuine visitor, intending driver, bank account depositor, etcetera etc.

And I would want a battery wall or some other backup system in place so that any power outage would be automatically adjusted for without even the briefest of pauses!

As long as the Koran makes it permissible to lie to the infidel with complete impunity, we have little choice than include all Islamists as potential liars, who may well have a hidden agenda or undeclared motivation!? As par for the course!? Sorry, and no offence intended!

"Muslims around the world who are the real victims of the actions of such murderers"

Really?

I thought it was the 1000s that have been slaughtered, raped, made to pay a tax or imprisoned for being Kafir.

The Quran does not say very nice things about Kafir.

Verse (33:61)

"Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter."

"They are accursed. Wherever they are found they will be seized, and cut into pieces. "

http://corpus.quran.com/translation.jsp?chapter=33&verse=61

I really could not care if ISIS is called 'Radical Islam' or not.

It is the word 'Kafir' that I would like explaining.

While it's true we have christian terrorist, Hindu terrorist etc. Terrorism seems to be very popular with Muslims. Why is that?

Cobber,

When you and others refer to Christian terrorism, I assume that you mean events in the long gone past. I recently asked a lady who referred to events in the Old Testament, if she could advise me of any modern Christian terrorism. She could not. Can you? I can't think of any.

Dear Mr. Goth,

You have the second coolest last name I have ever heard, after Batman. I know you didn't choose it, but it's neat all the same.

//It is the word 'Kafir' that I would like explaining.//

It refers to a variety of citrus fruit, and the leaves of the same tree, used predominantly in Asian cookery. I have never used the fruit myself, but the leaves add a pleasant flavour citrus note to many south-east Asian dishes, not dissimilar to lemongrass.

//Sorry about this chap's cat, but ISIS are the people to complain to, not us.//

I prefer to call them vagISIL. That way nobody can get them mixed up with pleasant things like pussies.

Bashir Goth has written a particularly poor, waffle piece that is intended to mislead the gullible into thinking that there is nothing wrong with Islam.

Look Bashir, the problem is Islam itself, and you know it. You and I both know that outside of kooky cults like the Japanese Aum, the Thuggees, and the Ananda Marg, Islam is the only religion which instructs it's believers to spread Islam through violence and terrorism. You know that Islam instructs it's followers to murder, mutilate, behead, and humiliate non believers, but as we say in the west "don't mention the war."

You know that those brave Jihadis who go on Jihad to spread Islam are the highest grade of Muslim, so you can not criticise them, can you? So the trick is to just say that all terrorism is horrible, without mentioning that the Koran is a book full religious quotes authorising Muslims to terrorise the kaffirs into submission.

You know that there are what Lenin once said were "useful fools" in the west, who will go into bat for Islam and Muslims, because they think that always opposing their own people's welfare is what "intelligent" people do. So you have written a little puff piece that will appeal to these stupid kaffirs who think that Islam is a religion of piece. They are people who desperately want to believe that all religions, cultures and people are equal, and that entire groups of people with diametrically opposed values can somehow live together without conflict.

They are people who think that people who believe in secular democracy can live with people who think that secularism and democracy are evil. That fundamentalist tolerant people can live with fundamentalist intolerants. That those who believe in religious freedom can live with those who consider repressing every other religion to be a religious duty. That those who believe in civil law with impartial judges can co exist within those who demand religious law run by religious leaders. And that those who believe in female equality can live with those who think that women are the property of men.

There is a lot more to concerns about Islam than just the terrorist groups.

There are the extreme and repressive laws that seem to be the norm in predominately Muslim countries.

There are the crowds of Muslims that are outraged enough to take to the streets in protest when someone publishes cartoons about the prophet or similar which don't seem to appear to express their outrage when the prophet and the faith is insulted by the most barbaric of acts done in the name of Islam.

There is the seemingly continual manoeuvring for special treatment by Muslims in the west who don't give any indication of support for similar freedoms for non-muslims in predominately Muslim countries,

There is the reality that groups such as ISIS or whatever name you give to them have a basis for much of what they do in various documents generally respected by Muslims such as the Koran. I'll accept that most Muslims seem to ignore the worst bits of those documents in the same way that most Christians are able to ignore some horrific Old Testament teachings but the divide between Olt Testament and New Testament for most Christians seems a lot clearer than the divide for Islamic teaching.

There is the continued spin by the majority of Muslim spokespeople when confronted with real issues rather than any attempt to genuinely engage with the issues and concerns that are being expressed.

I did some research, and Kafir seems to be the greatest enemy of Muslims.

It is not ISIS after all, but Kafir.

And Kafir is mentioned nearly 300 times in the Quran, and about 60% of the Quran is not about a God, but about Kafir, and how they should be killed, tortured, lied to, raped, used as slaves etc.

For example Quran 8.12

"I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip."

Quran 33:60
They [kafirs] will be cursed, and wherever they are found, they will be seized and mur-dered

Quran 9:29
The Christians and Jews do not follow the religion of truth until they submit and pay the poll tax [jizya], and they are humiliated.

The last one is interesting, because if Kafir pay a tax, they are no longer Kafir.

All it takes is money.

Gee poor old Mr Goth. He thought the would get some sympathy and he has been well and truly whacked.
Sorry Mr Goth but no sympathy, sort your fellow muslims out. No islamaphobia rubbish anymore. I am assured that the imams are always objecting to isis and radical islam but I have NEVER heard any remonstrating or complaint from any muslims? They say they have objected time after time but I have never seen it? Either they are full of it or the meeja are being unkind lol.

JBowyer, I've certainly seen some speaking out. I've also seen Muslims visible in their support for the victims after atrocities. I've seen photos (but don't have enough info to check) showing Muslims protecting non-Muslims from mobs of thugs. It's not all doom and gloom but neither is it all light.

Plenty of Muslims are good people, I'm concerned though amongst other things that the leaders generally seem far more concerned with spin than addressing the real issues that do exist.

This article being an example of the type of spin that many are getting heartily sick of.

There may be "good" Muslims in the world, but what proportion of them are "good" or "bad" (by western standards) is something that neither you nor I can answer. Most Germans are good people, that did not stop them supporting Hitler and his Nationalistic form of Socialism. Most Russians are good people, but they would all fight to protect the very Internationalist Socialist system that oppressed them. Same with Japanese, same with North Koreans, same with everybody.

The "good" people, as defined by western standards, never matter.

Islam is the most aggressive ideology left in the world today, and it is one which quite openly insists upon world domination. It's sacred texts authorise the use of extreme violence and terror to achieve that aim. In Islam, a "good" Muslim is one who supports that aim. A "very good" Muslim is one who sacrifices his life to attain Muslim world domination. Even "good" (by western standards) Muslims believe in Sharia Law because it is written in the Koran and they believe that the Koran is the literal word of God. That is why they will never criticise it

"Good Muslims" as defined by western standards, are conspicuously absent whenever the "bad" (by western standards) Muslims are up to no good. Where were the "good Muslims" when Amina Lawal in Nigeria was being stoned to death? Where were they when that blind girl in Pakistan was jailed for being raped? "Good" (by western standards) Muslims may exist, but just like good Germans, good Japanese and good North Koreans, they know that they had better keep their heads down or their own leaders will kill them.

We keep hearing this tale about moderate Muslims, but let us look at their leaders. The "moderate" elected head of the Australian Islamic Council demanded that Muslims be exempt from voting as democracy is "un-Islamic." Former "moderate" Imam Sheik Hilaly praised suicide bombers, made insulting references to white Australians, and blamed "cat meat" Australian girls for being raped by Muslims. The present one blamed everybody and everything but Islam for terrorism.

The "bad guys" have been using religion as shields for political agendas since humanity conceived religion. Nothing new here.

We will always have groups or individuals interpreting religious texts however they see fit, doesn't matter what religion we are talking about either. Have a look back through history and you will see this pattern. It's just that with today's world and the internet + modern electronic transmission media's like TV, radio, news of it comes into our lives quicker than ever before. Hence, why we have more discussions and commentary about this phenomenon.

Hey Rojama, what part of "Fight the unbelievers who are near to you. Lay ambushes for them, strike terror into their hearts", do you not understand?

If somebody says outright they want to kill and terrorise you, I think you should at least have the courtesy of believing them.

Alan B says:
" As long as the Koran makes it permissible to lie to the infidel with complete impunity, we have little choice than include all Islamists as potential liars, who may well have a hidden agenda or undeclared motivation!? As par for the course!? Sorry, and no offence intended!"

Where does this come from?
I'm very strict with my kids on being honest, even if it is against themselves:

Two verses from the Quar'an:

“O you who believe! Fear God, and be with those who are true (in word and deeds).” (Quran 9:119)

or

"And, do not cloak (and confuse) the truth with falsehood. Do not suppress the truth knowingly. (The Noble Quran, 2:42)"

Here is an example of what Muslims are taught about honesty:
http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/1669/honesty/

Whoever is giving you this information is playing you for a fool. To protect yourself you need to think a bit more critically and follow up on the facts (in this case the teachings of Islam).

“Reliance of the Traveller: A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law”, is an authoritative translation of a classical text and Section r8.0 “Lying” will provide the rulings according to the Shariah.

Nowhere does it say “it is permissible to lie to non-believers” or a person being a non-muslim makes it permissible to lie to them. A full online pdf version is available here: https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/the-reliance-of-the-traveller.pdf

The point?

Evidence for the power of love.

We are all souls free to choose. Our bodies, appearances, intellect, physical strength, abilities, etc. are all due to God as is our capacity to choose.

So let's love one another because that is what will bring us eternal benefit.
