By David Singer, published 10/3/2016

Marco Rubio has directly challenged Hillary Clinton – and every other Presidential candidate – to honour the commitments given by President Bush to Israel on 14 April 2004.

"I will revive the common-sense understandings reached in the 2004 Bush-Sharon letter and build on them to help ensure Israel has defensible borders..."

What borders?
israel and israel alone has continually and deliberately refused to set its borders. No other country has no borders.
It is this way so they can steal any land they want and call it israel.
isreal, and its people, believe they can hold off declaring their borders until the "facts on the ground" favor them and their theft of other peoples land and no one will be able to throw their settlers off.
Once the settlements reach the Jordan they will say this river is our border. Just as their fairy stories tell them.

"In light of new realities on the ground, including already existing major Israeli populations centers, it is unrealistic to expect that the outcome of final status negotiations will be a full and complete return to the armistice lines of 1949,"

See!

Quoting UN resolutions? Since when did israel give a tinkers cuss about any UN resolution. Talk about hypocrisy.

"The Israelis say they received commitments from the previous US administration of President George W. Bush permitting some growth in existing settlements."

What the hell business is it of the septics to "authorise" isreali settlements? What authority did the shrub have to give permission to the theft of Palestinian land? It boggles the mind that anyone could try to use this to justify the the occupation and subjugation of millions of people.

And we all know it is going to be trump leading your friends in the republican party before too long. Rubio is a loser.

Good to hear that at least someone, Hillary Clinton, truly loves Israel and cares for its true interests even while the Israeli government works against them.

Land swaps is the last thing that Israel needs, giving away good and healthy chunks of its land in return for poisoned chunks: when you have an open wound you cover it completely to stop all bleeding and infection. When you operate to remove a cancerous growth, you remove the lot, you don't leave anything at the edges.

That's the problem, since when has stolen land become the property of the thief? Who then resists all reasonable attempts to resolve the issue by saying, we won't give up our gold plated land in a land swap for rubbish!

Seriously, when you plonk new settlements concrete and bitumen down on top of it, who cares what the land looks like or can grow, given you can grow almost anything using hydroponics, land reclamation etc. You should se what the Irish and scottish pioneers were able to do with bare rock on barren windswept coastlines!

As for something looking like a malignant cancer, that is a most apt description for the new settlements and their growth.

But, why try to resolve this issue in a reasonable fashion, when on clear and present evidence, the Israelis have no intention of resolving anything! And that the land grabs and self evident obfuscation will continue until a new and dreadful war breaks out? Or the Israeli border abuts that of Jordan?

In the cancer analogy, sometimes saving the patient (Israel) requires the complete removal of the cancer!

In case you haven't noticed David there's a movement occurring.
Americans are fighting back against the political establishment and Your mate Little Marco 'Bubbles' Rubio (who like to hang out at public toilets) hasn't even got his toe in the door.
Hillary is being investigated by the Feds and they just gave one of her senior staff amnesty, possibly to testify against her if shes indicted.

Americans are fed up with the Israel firsters and the useless bought and paid for politicians..
They want their country back and all the quislings gone.

I hope Trump wins and exposes all the mess from 911 to present.
Everything the Pro-Israel neocons have done.

He's already calling for fairer playing field on the Israel / Palestine issue.
So my guess is we can expect all lot more of the same regurgitated verbal excrement David consistently spews out.
