"news.com.au" does not even have the right approach to islam yet. ISIS are moderate muslims, they are interpreting islamic scripture correctly.

"Deception in Islam: Taqiyya, Tawriya, Kitman and Muruna"

"Your humble scribe has written on several occasions over the past few months about Taqiyya – a religiously-sanctioned doctrine of lies and deceit – and how Muslims routinely use it in order to deceive non-Muslims about the true nature of Islam. It is not widely known (although it should be) that Muslims are permitted to lie in order to promote Islam in the eyes of non-Muslims, or to prevent its denigration in the eyes of non-Muslims, even under oath in a British court of law,"

NO Australian child will be safe until ALL muslims have been deported & ALL atheistic, secular, ANTI-socialist ANTI-humanists have been jailed or deported.

Lol Imacentristmoderate, you forgot your hated favorites in your list of deportees, the infamous Reds Under The Bed!
It must be very crowded under your imaginary bed?

imacentristmoderate, you will have to forgive Suze, she is our resident supporter of all humane rights, regardless of any threat they may pose. A typical re-active approach to terrorism, 'lets wait until we have a serious attack, then perhaps we will act', no guarantees there either.

The truth is, according to history in all countries they have resided in, Muslim leaders CAN NOT control the radicals within so the only approach is to rid our nation of anything that resembles Islam.

How long is it before we turn on the news to find a young child extremist here in our country has blown themselves up in a crowded class room.

We either act or wait. Sadly the only option taken up thus far is to wait.

The nice little chat depicted here is all very well, but it is still the same talk, talk, and more talk we constantly hear from Western 'leaders' who seem to have forgotten that their prime role is to protect us and our world.

The 'sledgehammer' mentioned is just the berries for the job. It's kill or be killed: nothing more, nothing less. We cannot treat with lunatics who hate us and want nothing more than to wipe us out. Stop the talk. Do the business.

I was just thinking how the 9/11 islamists actually flew a plane at a target. You can only do that once as in future plane passengers will not sit down but just attack and Governments will shoot planes full of passengers down rather than suffer a repeat of 9/11.
Now what can the islamists do? I reckon a small nuclear device set off in a city.
Then all the lefties will be swept aside and we will deal with islam in the West. There will be no mosques and no muslims. Stay as agnostic or go as a muslim to a muslim country.

"Unfortunately for those of us standing with the victims of terror, "moderate" is a term of marginal utility, and "moderate violence" is relative."

Agreed, Jonathan, however I'd take the criticism further, 'moderate' is in fact misleading, people have a naive tendency to project modern liberal democratic values onto the word and to ignore the parameters of the religion. It's a useful tool for Islamic apologists to confuse the issue.
Islam's celebrated history of 'tolerance' is another example of this wishful thinking, certainly, in the past Jews and Orthodox Christians were safer in Islamic societies than in the Catholic West however it was still a very precarious existence and they were subject to many minor and major oppressions.

Another fundamental mistake is to misunderstand 'radicalisation', some Muslims are offended and radicalised simply by living in a Kuffar society, they really do hate us for not sharing their demented superstition and no amount of magic multi-culti pixie dust will make the lightest difference. I noticed a rather complacent comment from an American a few days after the Paris atrocities --because of America's more enlightened attitudes a similar attack was very unlikely in the US, I wonder what his attitude is now.

Our political elites have committed Western societies to an uncontrolled social experiment on the assumption that Islam will be civilised by liberal democracy.
