I am unaware that Heredotus, Aristotle, Polemeu,Pausanias and Philo would have written in English - so can only assume your quotes are "translations". Can you produce the originals in Greek or Latin so the translations can be verified?

The generally accepted view is that it was not until the Romans crushed the second Jewish revolt against Rome in 135 A.D. under Bar Kochba that Emperor Hadrian applied the term Palestina to the Land of Israel.

One matter of great consequence that you have brought to notice is Philo's comment in 1st century CE:

I know there's a fair bit of evidence to show that Israel wants to destabilise its neighbours, but I'm not completely convinced the war in Syria is completely Israels doing, though it does follow a Neocon Plan.
Did you see the news article I added in my previous comment where Bandar spoke about a new Syrian government that would be sponsored by the Saudis?
One thing I am aware of is that if there is any truth to the Greater Israel project, then Israel are going to have to create or use an external enemy in order to justify any military action being in "defense" or Israel.
