Good racism is a bad idea : Comments
By Syd Hickman, published 31/7/2015For a start, booing people has a long tradition in Australian sport. Umpires cop it every week. Politicians have almost stopped going to sporting events because they get booed so enthusiastically.

Foxy, I did not ask for” further discussion”. I asked you to authenticate your assertion by a link, or confirm your failed attempt to deceive us.
We take your failure to provide a link as confirmation that your assertion is a lie. As to:” On the other side there's - Alan Jones, Andrew Bolt, Graham Richardson, Jason Akermanis, Sam Newman, - to name just a few.” There is also millions of fair minded Australians, insulted at Goodes’ selection as Australian of the Year, after his baseless vilification of the schoolgirl, who called him an ape. Dear Leo,
This is getting really tedious. Everything that I have stated in this discussion including the links provided has been brushed aside by you as "leftist," or "garbage," or "lies." Why on earth would I continue to get more of the same from you. Yet you "assert" that there are "millions" of "fair-minded Australians," who are insulted by Adam Goodes selection as Australian of the Year, after his "baseless vilification" of the school girl who called him an ape. Yet you don't provide a link to substantiate your claim. Pot/kettle - black. The support for Adam Goodes is around 25 million from fair-minded Australians. Where is you link for your claims.. Are we to assume your assertion is a lie? Put your money where your mouth is. Foxy:Nowhere on the material to which you link is there any support for your statement that 25million Australians support Goodes. If there were such support, there would also be millions feeling insulted by his selection as Australian of the year. I simply mirrored your nonsense. I post a link when I put forward a statement of fact, not when I make a statement purely for effect. As you say, you are tedious, and I simply brought out how ridiculous your statement is. They are not all humourless lefties on this thread. There are people who are amused, at what a fool you make of yourself.
As to:” Everything that I have stated in this discussion including the links provided has been brushed aside by you as "leftist," or "garbage," or "lies." I have not, as you stated, “brushed aside” your posts and links. I have spent hours scanning them and answering them. Where I have shown them to be garbage, it is not by mere assertion, but by careful presentation of reasons.Perusal of the material to which you linked in your last post, to ascertain that there was nothing relevant took time and effort. I have the definite impression that one of your aims is to waste my time. Posted by Leo Lane, Tuesday, 11 August 2015 3:20:45 PM

Leo,
Trying to boil it down, for you, the right or wrong in this is whether Adam Goodes' action was appropriate in signalling out an opposition fan who was yelling the word 'ape' from over the fence in his direction during the Collingwood / Sydney match in the AFL's Indigenous Round, 2013. Have I captured the nut of the problem? Posted by Dan S de Merengue, Tuesday, 11 August 2015 5:16:33 PM

Thanks, Dan. To sum it up for you, Goodes’ action was ill-natured and misconceived in his nonsensical perception of racism. He is a racist, and a self-centred bully. He did ask that the schoolgirl be left alone, so there may be potential for him to grow up, but he is not making the necessary effort.
If a big boob like him is “gutted” from being called an ape, how is a young girl affected by being publicly called “the face of racism”? There are a lot of weak minded people who support Goodes’ “racism” nonsense, making it most uncomfortable for her. Posted by Leo Lane, Tuesday, 11 August 2015 7:21:53 PM

I read your last post and seeing as you've
already made up your mind - there's no point
in any further discussion.
Thread purpose served.
